Yes it’s in Sakakawea. Garrison Dam fish hatchery provides the stock for Oahe. Cisco and Rainbow Smelt are the main sources of food. Oahe and Ft. Peck generally have bigger fish then Sakakawea. Peck and Oahe have higher Cisco populations. At least that’s what I tell myself when I don’t catch big ones.

Not many people know that there are Kings in North Dakota. Anyway I’m from western NY, grew up trolling on Erie. Currently in North Dakota. I run a Hewescraft Ocean Pro 240 ( kinda sticks out like a sore thumb in Walleye country) Love the site and all the great info.
