    I have never caught a single fish using flashers, or dodgers anywhere, and have tried them everywhere, must be me? But I do have pretty okay luck trolling spoons that are 2.25" - 4.5". We get them on every color in the box some days, and none of them on other days. When I get out there, I run a spread of everything, and let the fish tell me what they want, hopefully. Mostly fish Cayuga, but also visit some ADK lakes when we feel like camping. Go with what usually works for you and have fun.

    2 Cannon Easy Troll Downriggers with a pair of 8lb balls, and mounting bases. Used one season, and steel cable was changed to 300lb Power Pro braided line. These riggers work perfectly and are dead quiet. Great for a small boat, $350 for the pair. Would prefer pick up, with cash. I would consider meeting within 40 miles of Cooperstown, NY

    ☺Two Big Jon Otter Boats, and Dual Planer Mast. One Otter Boat is brand new, never used, and the other is a couple years old but functions perfectly. Both Otter Boats have a single keel. The mast is in awesome shape, got new line last year, and includes mounting base. $500 for set, or $250 for boats, and $250 for mast. Would prefer pick up with cash, but will consider driving 50 miles from Cooperstown NY

    I did spool up a couple reels with big game 30lb this year, and tied on about 100ft of seguar flouro, but never used them. Did pretty good using just 12lb flouro all year, with very few fleas

    Last year, fleas were bad, sometime couldn't even reel in downrigger lines. This year I ran 12 lb berkley vanish, and had almost no fleas on Cayuga, and Owasco. Don't know if it was the line, or just less fleas? More weed problems than anything else. The fleas don't seem to bother 18 lb leadcore, or copper lines at all
