As of 3 days ago the road down the bluff leading to it was real tough I guess
That it is but the channel is open. It's a little extra run time for sure but the south launch is open & in good shape

Channel is open & navigable

If it's the drive that should go with that engine it is a 1:81 ratio

Here is a pretty good chart that breaks different scenarios down.

It's normally open on or by the 1st of April, but with what has been going on this last couple of months they have just started on it. I would think it will be open next week some time.

Just a heads up on the village launch (high lighted below)
7 hrs ·PLEASE SHARE!
UPDATE: COVID-19 update as of 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30th
There are 15 confirmed Wayne County residents that have tested positive with the virus.
Of those 15, 6 are hospitalized(1 in very serious condition-🙏🏻🙏🏻), 8 that are home isolated and 1 resident is in Minnesota.I am pleading with everyone to take this virus seriously. It does not discriminate by age. Yes, if you’re young you have a better chance of survival. But there as been an infant that has passed along with a 10 year old in the US that did not make it.
Please “social distancing” is more important now than ever. The sooner we rid our community of this demon, the sooner we can rebuild our lives.
This stinks, no 2 ways around that.
But please do what you can to help. Don’t go to a store if it’s not necessary, don’t congregate in groups, and please wash and sanitize your hands as much as you can.One last thing: we are having issues with groups of people gathering at the boat launch at Harriman Park in Sodus Point. If this continues, we will have to shut the ramp down to everyone, and we don’t want to do that. We will have a sign down there soon.
I will put out another update as I get it.
Thank you and God bless you all and PLEASE stay safe.Any questions, please give me a call

I'm assuming it's twins, switch senders from one to the other and see if the starboard engine does the same with the port sender in it . Not often they go bad but it could save a lot of needless time & $ in the end.

What size engine do these fit?
Most Mercruiser / Mercury

Nifty idea but I think your going to need some deflectors on the sides to contain the water & if your running the engine for any length of time as per breaking in the cam/engine keep a close eye on the temperature as your just recirculating the cooling water

Hoping to get out this weekend too. Low water at Dean's so hopefully Taughannock will work with the trim up...
Me too, I'm waiting to see how the new toys work out for ya

Thats what it is & it's not as easy or for that matter possible to convert over to hydraulic as a Mercruiser would be that was explained in your other thread.
