if you guys are coming up 481 from the south to oswego. that gas station is about a mile off the great northern mall exit.
-
i think the winner should be the winner . if your going to have a lottery, put up 500.00 or whatever amount you want and if they weigh at least 3 fish in, you get a lottery ticket. then draw from them. that gives people an insentive to weigh in fish and gets them to the weigh station. some guys would weigh fish if they dont think they are "in the money".

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

i was going up sunday but this east wind will kill the fishing. i am probably headed to cayuga instead.
-
i used to fish smallie quite a bite, i like the ford shoal area. never fished them in the bay. the water temp is in the low 60's so i would throw crank baits and spinner baits in the shallows 5 -15fow. there are plenty of rocky areas in the bay. i always liked points.

i really enjoyed reading your adventures at wilson. thank you. you had a beautiful week and the fishing was great. hopefully we will see you there next year.

42nd spinny and fly were hot for us last weekend. im glad you put some lines down deep. the big guys like it down there too, that spinny works good deep. did you pick up a dw gator mag? if so it was hot everyday we fished it. nbk mag too. that 28lber is a pig!!! nice picture.

nick, i was the guy at the clean station waiting for you to get finished. try a 42nd spinny\fly combo on your wire 240 out.. also a crome spinny/b fly comdo 240 out on 2. Also my hot spoon today was dw mag gator. its a great spoon. like i said at the marina 122 down. also took fish 95down. the kings will go deep on sunny days. 130-145fow after 8 or so. I try you tomorrow on 68. you saw my box, try fishing your riggers deep.

i know most people use cell phone now but i was just curious to the channels they use up there. i dont mind sharing info but my bills arent paid by fishing, the captains are. i like to find my own fish and stay away from other boats, but a tip now and then is nice. if someone is coming up this weekend give me a call, ill probably be scanning the channels or pm me for my cell #. i have a 221 islander with a gray top and a volvo i/o {not very common}.
-
i would set up 1 wire diver rod with 1000" now. then when you can afford the other spool of wire set up the other rod. in the long run you be better off.

the reason you cant release it is because it is twisted. let it out slowly.
