    Fishing was real tough by the salmon river. We only did 1 fish in 71fow on a dipsy rod out 150ft. Double glow spin dr with a glow hammer fly about 8:00. that was it for the day. marked very few fish and saw even fewer nets fly. the water temp in the bay is 63* top to bottom at least out to 120ft. talk to a guy at the launch and he said he went out to 210 and found 58* but no fish and little bait. I am done for the year on my boat. time to move to cayuga and pound some perch. for the people going out tomorrow... good luck.

  2. your first that snapped the leader was the fish got the leader caught on the back of the trebles. Put a little epoxy in the V of your trebles. second problem, use at least 40# line between your dipsey and your flasher. what kind of reel are you using and when was the drag last serviced? When i first started fish ontario i used cheap swivels. line twist kills your mono, use quality swivels. they cost about a buck a piece but a new flasher and fly cost a lot more.
