i have not seen one out of owasco in 20 years.

i dont know why cabelas does not have the 30lkc. i have a couple hundred in rewards to spend there and they have everything except the 30lc.
-
where did you guys get your saltist 30lc's from?
-
i have a ranger and it does the job. it is 6 or 7 years old and going strong. I also have a rubber net for smallmouths and walleye. i think a rubber net big enough for salmon would weigh to much

DAVE- be nice!!! i suck at fishing meat so i can't help you, plus it stinks up my boat!

It takes a lot of time and energy to put on a tournament like this. The first thing is finding the person or group of people that would do this for little to nothing.
I think if you keep the rules simple and have a 300.00 entry fee you could get a lot of boats. I like the idea of having a tackle shop doing the weighing but finding one with a parking lot big enough will be tough.

what part of the lake do you want to go out of?

the x4, moor subtroll and depth raider are all good. i would buy any of the 3. the x4 has the advantage of no coated cable but you have to mount a transducer on your boat. i have had a subtroll for over 15 years and like it.

i have the same problem on my cannons. i would like to just replace the rope.

way to go andy! get the smoker fired up.
-
that would be fun with my brown trout rods and reels!

I would be up for a 1 or 2 day event but I really don't want to travel to the West end. you don't have to limit it to 2 man team just 6 rods. i don't see the need for observers and closed communication but i would go along with it. keep the entry fee cheap 300.00. i think culing is ok. keep it fun and low key. the fewer the rules the easier it is.

Thanks for all your help guys. I am going to look at a storage facility on Saturday that is a half a mile from my apartment. They will give me 24/7 access for $79.00 a month. That is pretty high priced but it wil be parked on a concrete pad and gated.

thanks i will give it a try.

dreamweaver SS are great spoons. they have some killer colors.
-
ya i stopped there and talked to the owner. he will not give me a key to the gate so i can only get to my boat if the gate is unlocked. basicly from 8am to 7pm. it is an option but not a good one. i heard there is a boat place in bayberry but i can't find it.
-
if i could i would!!! apartment complex does not want it on site, not even over night.

i have never put a fish on my wall, but

the captain and the obverser will be in trouble if they get caught. all the observer needs is an enhanced NY license. I will not fish over the border any more, to much of a hassle for my liking.
