  1. Yup what andy said but I use 10lb flouro and use a double surgeons knot for my spoon rods. RR
  2. Are we going with the 10 points per fish and 1 point per pound? RR
  3. Well what happened? I had 60 degrees on top! Last weekend I had 70. My fish were scattered and i had to pick away. Not many but nice lakers. I had 1 pushing 11lbs. Mower said he was getting some nice silver fish in 50fow. I went in there and never moved a rod. Fleas are starting to show up. So is the grass. RR
  4. Go deep if you want the big lakers. right down the middle. Cant miss them on the graph.
  5. John, Saw you in tight. didn't know it was you. give me a call on the radio next time. I do use it from time to time.
  6. Wow great fishing in the fog! I putted out and set up went south. Very tough navigating but I handled it no prob. Really had to pay attention especially when doubles we hooked up and only 2 in the boat. Action never stopped and I quit at 11:00. A few decent salmon and lost a BIG brown at the back. All the big lakers I could deal with one went a shade over 13lbs 37 in. Lots in the 7 to 10lb range. fun morning! I'll try to get the pig laker posted off my phone tomorrow. Look out, I'm dialing in! RR
  7. Transition time boys! The fish are scattered everywhere. My deep fish are not there. I found that working structure was the ticket as all my bites were off points. Hit the points and work em. Sat: 11lb laker and a 5lb bow. Several 6 to 7lb lakers Mon: Browns! many in the 5lb class Several legal salmon and 2 lakers 9lbs. Afew skippers too. worked the points hard, 2 rods with R&R's. Down 25 and 35 with cheaters. Wires out 280 and 300. White on white or green on green. 165 to 250 fow. RR
  8. Ya know I never win cash, just the trophy! but maybe I'll throw in a 10er for fun. Hey I picked up another vote today! RR
  9. Keep the ball in the water! Always! Good luck today guys. Wish I was out there, looked like a nice morning when I left for WORK! RR
  10. No fish there! Maybe when I get home from work on sat, I'll wave to ya if your in my spot. RR
  11. No inside info is going to do you any good after that BLOW! You're gonna have to start from scratch! i don't need latex women, all I need is 2 rods and a couple of days off! RR
  12. I'm out guys I have to work. I was looking forward to takin splits money. RR
  13. I use the pink smelly jelly on everything but flies. I will rub a little on the flashers/dodgers. Goes on all spoons all the time. I dont necessarly believe the attractant part but when my crew keeps bringing raw onions on board, I like to mask our scent a bit. RR
  14. I dont think it would hurt the unit (maybe the ducer). Now I only run 50khz when over 80 FOW. I can see my rigger balls no prob. 200khz not really. I was out there and there was some wicked currents going on. I run 13lb balls and was loosing them on my screen at 2.6 mph at the ball. You are using 10's so your balls are out of the transducer area and thats why you cant see them. 200khz is for shallow applications, 50khz for deep water. Sometimes I run a split screen 50/200 to make sure I'm not missing fish up high, but just try the 50 when over 80 fow. You will mark more fish too. you definately need bigger balls too! good luck RR
  15. I wear a head net. No way to keep them away. RR
  16. According to Chevy chase, Blow is just an expression! but yea it sucks. I'll be up there and hope to get 2 days in before it blows. The wilson Scottie will be a challenge for sure! RR
  17. Very nice. I fished that area on sat morning. Boated about 40 but nothing big. Tried the west side and found cold clear water. Nice fish! RR
