And tonight's hunt ruined by a damn trespasser!!!! Man I dont like gun season!!! Of course he had the trespasser uniform on. Dark camo, no blaze orange, and no back tag. I spotted him sneaking along the property line which is the woods and field edge. Trespassing on two properties!!!! I thought about getting down and walking over to him but he quickly disappeared back into the woods. 10 minutes later he appeared again farther down the field and just about in gun range of a doe and 2 fawns. I quickly packed my stuff and hauled butt over to him. I got within 200 yards of him and I noticed he was raising his gun at the deer in the field. So I yelled "YO"! There was about 25 deer in the field at this point all looking at the crazy guy (me) in the middle of the field. Needless to say the field cleared in a hurry. I yelled "yo" a second time before the clown finally saw and ran into the woods. A**hole! I just dont understand the mentality.

November 23 am 38 degrees WSW wind 5-15 mph Cloudy becoming part sunny Some great action this am between 7-830. Five fawns, two does, 1.5 year old buck, and a stud 8pt. Certainly a lot quieter morning with only three shots heard. Time to grind. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 22 pm 39 degrees SE wind 5-15 Cloudy Very short sit for me because as you all know my kid shot a deer. I thought I would still out a report up because although it was a short sit I still had some action. Honorable mention is that a couple of scrapes have been opened up again. Which usually tells me we are getting past the peak of breading. In my short time in the stand I did see a young buck tending a doe in the field just up from my stand. Well my kid got it done this afternoon. Long story, short he wasn't even planning on hunting this afternoon. Around 130 he was inquiring about hunting. I told him he had two stands he could hunt with this east wind. He ask me which stand would I hunt. I told him I would hunt the set I hunted this morning. The other stand choice you may see more deer but the other one your bound to see the right deer. And boy did he see the right deer. Just as he was approaching the stand he saw a doe pop up. He dropped to one knee and then he noticed there were five bucks all around her. He picked out the biggest and let it fly. Proud dad moment for sure. His biggest to date. November 22 am 38 degrees Cloudy SE wind 5-10 mph Snow/rain starting at 10am Hunted a fresh set today that my kid and I hung a couple weeks ago. Saw a bunch of does and a small buck. Not a lot of shots heard this morning. Certainly not a lot considering it's day two of the gun season. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 21 pm 44 degrees Cloudy NW wind 5-10 mph Certainly more action this afternoon than this morning just not a whole lot of antlers to speak of. However I did have an encounter with a big 8pt and totally botched the opportunity. I never saw him walk out and I anticipated that he would walk directly away from me and never give me a shot. I mouth grunted to him and stopped him in-between a couple of trees before I even had the gun on him. Got the gun up, rushed the shot, clean miss. Absolutely horrible execution by me. He ran back into the bedding and ten minutes later walked out into the field 200 yards from me. I guess I didn't spook him too bad. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 21 am - gun opener 40 degrees Cloudy skies NW wind 8-14 mph Does and fawns every where this morning but a lack of antlers. Sure sign that breeding is in full tilt. I did see one decent buck this morning walk out and scent check a doe in the field and then return right back to the woods where he started. Very methodically. My kid also saw lots does and fawns. No antlers. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
