So two interesting things I have seen so far today 1. A doe with two fawns aggressively chasing away a single line fawn in the field. Borderline bullying. At one point I actually saw the doe ram into the side of the fawn with her head. I think the lone fawn wanted to join them and mama doe did not like that idea. This went on for 20-25 minutes until eventually they went their own ways. 2. I have two squirrels in the willow tree next to me building a nest. They are going around the woods and cutting down branches and then carrying them up the tree to add to the nest. (Maybe a beaver/squirrel hybrid). They have been non stop since day break and could care less about me. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 25 pm Freaking warm 50s South wind 5 mph Cloudy skies Rain on the way Well headed to the stand early today only to have all the action from the last hour of light. Big numbers showed up to the field tonight (Bucks, does, and fawns). If the interactions between deer tonight told me anything it's that we are no doubt well past peak breeding. Typically peak breeding is that last week of bow season. Lots of mature does with their fawns. I only witnessed one fawn show up without it's mother tonight. As for the bucks. They seem to be in there best behavior. Bucks of all year classes showed themselves including a stud. Certainly there was some scent checking but very little bumping of does and just some minor chasing. Deer just wanted to eat!!! Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 24 am 37 degrees SW wind 5-10 mph Cloudy skies Went into the thick stuff for the morning sit and only ended up seeing one small buck. And if course it was early. Starting to already see the deer activity come to a screeching hault. Its amazing that it really doesn't take much for the mature deer to realize it's gun season. Fingers need to be crossed that you have a hot doe around. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
