First shots heard today at 709… what a difference a day makes! Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Looks like we have some weather coming around 10ish. Too bad it looks like it wont be in the form of snow but rain here in 8A.

Wow. My congrats to her!!!

November 21 pm 44 degrees Cloudy NW wind 5-10 mph Certainly more action this afternoon than this morning just not a whole lot of antlers to speak of. However I did have an encounter with a big 8pt and totally botched the opportunity. I never saw him walk out and I anticipated that he would walk directly away from me and never give me a shot. I mouth grunted to him and stopped him in-between a couple of trees before I even had the gun on him. Got the gun up, rushed the shot, clean miss. Absolutely horrible execution by me. He ran back into the bedding and ten minutes later walked out into the field 200 yards from me. I guess I didn't spook him too bad. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Awesome man! Congrats!

Well it's been quiet since I got in here at two and all of a sudden gun shots in every direction. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

November 21 am - gun opener 40 degrees Cloudy skies NW wind 8-14 mph Does and fawns every where this morning but a lack of antlers. Sure sign that breeding is in full tilt. I did see one decent buck this morning walk out and scent check a doe in the field and then return right back to the woods where he started. Very methodically. My kid also saw lots does and fawns. No antlers. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I was going to report first shot here at 640. That seems reasonable now after what you guys are reporting. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Be safe. Shoot straight. My kid really hasnt been hunting much this year and Im hoping I put him on a buck this weekend. Its been awhile since I pulled cards but today I pulled four cards today and I was surprised by the buck activity in the past 2-3 days. Pretty impressive. A few decent bucks that arent mine showing up also.

Yes sir.

Id love to hear how everything goes especially after our conversation last year after the season. They have been killing a ton of deer this year!

Good luck! She was successful last year??? Im headed there again for muzzleloader.

And neighbor #3...

So far this morning 2 different neighbors sighting in their guns...

Congrats!

Congrats!

HA! This is no doubt my wife also. Look and all!

Unfortunately it happens. I have a similar story that I shared in last years thread. In the end it looked like i must of got only one lung and we bumped the deer a day and a half later. It sucks. You just have to move past it and get back to hunting. Its an emotional roller coaster.
