October 29 am 41 degrees SW wind 5 mph Cloudy Rain on the way As I mentioned I had a great encounter this morning with a buck. Just needed him to commit but they are just too damn smart. Came in from down wind over my right shoulder. Had him inside of 30 yards at one point. He just wasn't comfortable enough to keep coming. Had him between 30-70 yards for 30 minutes. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

October 28 pm 50 degrees Partly sunny SW 5-15 mph An unbelievable night on stand. Crazy numbers. Insane amount of bucks. It seemed like non stop chasing. Every time i scanned there was another doe getting chased. Had one of my target bucks just out of reach with the bow tonight. About 40-50 yards. Deer was bedded downwind of me and traveled directly into the wind right freaking past me. Ugh. I guess that says a lot about ozone and scent control. October 26 pm 52 degrees NW wind 5-10 Cloudy Occasional drizzle Sat in a fresh set tonight. The set is set up as rut stand so I figured with the all the action the past fees days on the property is was time. Not a whole lot happening close to the stand besides a doe group but I did see a lot in the distance. Lots of chasing again this pm. Saw a handful of does get chased right off the field. Just got done moving a couple stands. One i moved to the tree to the 12 feet to right of where it was. I felt deer were picking me out of the tree so hopefully moving it to the side I wont be as noticeable. The other stand i just rotated in the same tree about 45 degrees. I wanted a better line of sight over my left shoulder.
