Struggling... 1 walleye since Sunday night. That was drifting in North bay. Today all I could get there was silver bass. Can't get anything going at Shackleton. Have not had a bite on a crawler since 5am. I don't believe I have had a gobie bite yet.

Thanks for the info. I plan to fish Shackleton as well. I am assuming you tip the bucktails with crawlers? 

Heading to Oneida next week Sunday afternoon through Thursday morning. Staying near Cleveland Bar. Haven't fished Oneida in many years. Not looking for your secrets, but any general advice would be appreciated. I prefer not to troll as main presentation. I am stocked up on blade baits and bucktail jigs, as well as crawler harnesses, etc.

Appreciate any info.

I switched to them last year and really like them. Less resistance when tripped and they dive a little deeper. I can't remember which size I got, but they are slightly larger than a 107 Deeper Diver. I don't remove mine from the wire, so I got green and purple (no red available) for starboard and port.

Don't get me wrong. I put a Helix 10 with mega on my multi species boat this spring. Haven't gotten much run time yet. My Terrova does not have ipilot link. But an Ulterra with ipilot link paired with this would be pretty sweet...

Ulterra doesn't necessarily "talk" to Helix. Motor needs ipilot link and cabling ($$). Ipilot alone is a standalone system.

I just put a Humminbird Helix on my boat. Haven't tried it out yet. With your type of fishing the chirp SI/DI might be right for your application and budget.
