  1. Sorry to get back to you so late. Been busy as heck with my restaurant. yes it’s still available. I’ve had a few inquiries.
  2. Some of you may or may not have know about this (guessing nearly all didn’t) or who he was. I found out sadly just this past week through his FB account when I went to wish him a happy birthday. Mark was one of the guys that started L.O.U back in I believe 2003(?)along with Steve Drave. He was a super nice guy who was always willing to help out other fisherman with reports ect about what was going on out on the Big O. There was another Lake Ontario fishing site at the time that if I remember correctly had a few members or guys that ran it that would get a little more upset about who was posting whatever information they were or something along those lines (I’m sure someone will chime in about it) so he and Steve decided to start their own site and the rest I guess is history. In speaking with Steve the other day he was shocked and very sad when I told him. He said he hadn’t spoken with Mark since about May because he had been so busy (unfortunately we all know how that can be😢) but had said Mark hadn’t been feeling to well back then. Mark was the 1st guy to have invited me out on his boat back then. I had my own boat but didn’t know really any of the other guys out fishing back then other than by seeing their boats pass by. One thing that stands out in my memory was the auto pilot on his boat. I thought WOW that’s pretty cool (I fished a lot by myself back in the day) He had one of the ones than hung over the steering wheel and I still remember the amount of noise it would make when in use 😩🤣. I had some good fun memories fishing with both Mark and Steve back then. I just thought it would be a nice thing to pass along in his memory and to maybe encourage some of you to at least text or call a friend maybe that you hadn’t spoken with for a while to at least say hello and see how they are doing. I had fallen out of touch with Mark over the last few years and wish now I had at least contacted him to say hello because you never know when it might be to late😢

  14. By the way hello Tom long time no chat, hope all Is well with you have t been on the ole site much at all in the last few years All your saying makes since, I’m just going by what the guys told me that looked at it. That was just one thing they mentioned along with possible issue from bunks maybe being pressure treated wood. All I do know is I’m totally bummed about the whole thing never thought it would be something that couldn’t be repaired😢 They said they have see it a lot lately in the boats from the 90s in fact more than the older boats🤷🏼‍♂️
  15. I think your dad sold me a bum boat back in the day🤣🤣🤣
  16. I had the exact same issue on my 1994 gals 195 Nympth and found a hole about the size of a dime that was between the bunk and the bottom of the boat so every time I pulled it out of the water I couldn’t find the hole because the bunk was hiding it. Filled it with water too in my garage and nothing🤔 Just had it checked at B&W customs in Sodus and it’s unrepairable. To many smaller holes popping up and don’t feel it was safe to repair 😢 Pictures show the big hole and some smaller ones that had started. They say they have seen it a lot in the boats from the 90s more often than even older boats. They say it’s usually due to battery acid working it’s way down there and eating it’s way through from the inside out. With all that being said I have a boat that needs to be stripped so if anyone os looking for boat parts for a nympth contact me. Custom made top with side and drop curtains that’s in excellent condition see last picture. Feel free to message me here on the site Tom

  18. Was taking on some water at the launch. Pulled the boat and couldn’t find any loose Robert’s or anything like that. Thought it was maybe a intake hose for the live well maybe had cracked from old age. Disconnected the hose and eliminated that from the list. Finally found the problem was where I couldn’t see it. Filled the boat under the floor with water at my house and dropped the trailer tongue and found water leaking out between the front edge of the bunk and the boat. Hoped it was a couple rivets but instead found this was the problem today🤬 So looking for someone that does repairs on these types of issues. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated Thanks, Tom Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. Have you tried Narby’s at the Oak? They used to have a bunch of FLT spoons. I may have a few of those. I can take a look later this week too. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
