  2. A note on observers:

Acting on being an observer is a multi-faceted task, an awesome learning tool. It is a serious position that demands a punctual individual who is also a sea-worthy soul. Observers are expected to be very conscious of rules and are paid most times, however other arrangements are sometimes made like fishing a pre-fish day with the team.

Observing for a simple payday is not recommended in most cases.

  4. Just wanted to extend a big ole THANK YOU to all who keep running our products and putting fish on the LOC board.

A-TOM-MIK is 13 years into this "ride" within one of the toughest fields to conquer the "Lake Ontario lure business" Ugggg lol

Thanks to all, your support and following is immense.

Indebted for life to all of you who use our items

I have started an article that I'll post here as to why I feel the most fish are coming off our goods soon

  5. Greg, not looking for a finders fee but I just pm'd you a contact of an unlisted Prowler for a decent price, if you end up buying it I will take a complimentary "Casey" (about 8 bucks)

Just my .02: I've owned 2 Penn Yans in the last 7 years and have about 800 trips on them, I've also put numerous hours on many vessels from the 80's till the mid 00's, in excess of 1000 over that time alone, Baha, Tiara, Sportcraft, Cherokee, Egg Harbor, Wellcraft, Starcraft, Lund etc etc and the list goes on. One of the first few boats I worked on was a newer Prowler in the early 90's, I have compared every boat to it ever since for whatever reason. Many Penn Yans are not perfect and I even feel there area few design flaws that should of been addressed but all vessel's will have their issues. Just something about a Penn Yan that keeps their owners satisfied with the expenditure. (:

  6. Thanks all, much appreciated

I have many idols, peers, and those I consider legends, how could one go wrong looking up to those leading the way

As far as putting time and concern into the fishery its a fun ride to watch and very rewarding

The A-TOM-MIK gig is a tough one to keep up with, glad I am still making anglers happy with our service, when the Kings or BT's are biting its tough to work, lol

We try to do our best and Steph has incorporated every aspect of this business into into her own life, again I'm blessed

Sure do hope I am not tortured in a future life for my many blessings in this one :wondering:

    Thanks so much

    Tom

  8. I have to admit Jimmy you were a blast, first time that I was EVER involved ~AND I MEAN EVER~ involved in a team meeting (on day 2) that informed of checking rods more often, sharpening hooks, keeping head and spirits in the game etc etc etc THAT WAS HOSTED BY THE OBSERVER !!!

WOW !!! I'm not so sure Vince would have welcomed your authoritative words so receptively LMAO !!!

Great time and great memories were made at my teams visit to the Oak, and I'll tell you what, after playing this game for almost 20 years there truly is always room for added fun, but fair warning Jimmy be a bit careful with all your sincere advice next time you observe during your next outing (: :yes::o
