fished from 430 pm til 7 pm....1 perch...all fish where caught away from where i was!!!4 guys got 6 eyes avg length 22in!!!some days your the dog others the hydrant..and so long 4 now;john

fished from 615pm till 815pm on the south shore near lakeport....what a beauuuuutiful nite..unluckyfor me i felt like poop but the nite was very enjoyable,,caught 2 eyes and lost 1.very little bait in the water..1 fish hit a white husky the other 2 a chartuse thunderstix.even saw a shooting star!!and so long 4 now;john

fished from 630am till 1130 am..8-42fow...3 guys in my boat..my self .my father and my brother have not fished together in 30+ yrs so we were kinda lookin forward to today.1 short sye.1 sheepshead 1 5lb smallie 2 perch...found baith fish all over!!! i have never seen so much bait in the 40+yrs fishing oneida....at one point in 14fow the fish where boiling the bait out of the water.saw bass perch pike all surfacing while chashing bait..i a sadder note........................................................some one STOLE trailer off a truck at the south shore boat launch...took it off the truck..be careful with your stuff...and so long 4 now;john

fished from 615-1045am.8-25fow...with crayfish tring to find some perch...1 keeper.3 sunnies and a smb......couldnt find the fish in and around union springs...few yrs back did well around the island in 18-20fow...not today,,even tried around green bouy marker south of springs...nada...and w/o minnows no sence tring much deeper....and so long 4 now;john

fished from 6am till 1030...3-18fow casted all sorts of pike baits..had 1 follow near skinnyatlas creek...whole lotta casting for nuthin..although now ive tried from clbc to weedsport....just a gluten for futility i suppose...and so long 4 now;john

6am till 11am...2-38 fow.cast.. jigged.....jigs..trolled,plastics,sonars and j18 raps,mepps ,blue fox..damn near a dozen lures for 3 catfish and a silver bass... nuthin with TEETH!!!MARKIN BAIT AND BIGGER FISH .EVEN BROUGHT OUT MY UNDERWATER CAMERA..COULDNT SEE A THING TOO murky...THEY GOTTA BE THERE BUT IM STARTIN TO DOUBT THAT...and so long 4 now;john

sorry 4 your misfortune..i will also expand my cl lookings 4 your rods.either a client or a friend.stole your stuff.even a dumb thief steals all he can..to go after great rods ..he -she knew what they wanted>>>>i would do as previous posted.....go through your client list since you got the rods and make some calls...good luck!!!and so long 4 now;john

530 am till 1130 am.10 f0w -30-fow.3 eyes 1 short.4 sunnies and a sheep...found the eyes till the weather changed then........ 4 hrs wo a eye.talk bout lock jaw..and wow the rain was impressive...and so long 4 now;john

hey mike..i havent even tried the canal yet,,mabey its worth a shot..the boat traffic is bad so after 8am or so i cant imagine trin to fish it...i was thinking of trin the weedbeds in and around bonta bridge and weedsport.....any thoughts????and so long 4 now'john

i dont understand why they would leave!!plenty of cover and lots of forage...and limited fishing pressure.....in my 3 + yrs tring to catch one out of cross i think you can count on 1 hand how many times ive seen other anglers fishing 4 them..its mostly a bass and panfish crowd....mabey the water tastes funny???and so long 4 now'john

fished from 530am till 1030am..from 2-30fow...castin and trolling for a tiger......im starting to believe that its not possible.to target this fish in cross lake!!!!!caught 2 lmb a perch and a 10lb cat..nothin with teeth....may start burning my fuel in the river for this fish...and so long 4 now;john

fished from 5am till 10am...no fish with teeth .a couple of smb and a gobie.....not a good sign!!! when these get into oneida they will make zebra mussels look like fresh water shrimp...and so long 4 now;john

look up JOHN GAULKE....he is a local guide whom used to work at BPS....him and i used to share stories..h.e guides out of the finger lakes......gar is his fish of choice...and so long 4 now;john

ok ill bite...for my 1st 40 yrs of fishing i always told myself a 10lber gets mounted...2 yrs ago i caught 3 in 1 day in jan on BOQ...SO I MOVED IT UP TO 12LBS....if and when that day happens that i land such a fish 30 pixs will be taken and i shall get a repo.....any fish over 23in has so much mercury in it why bother?????and if that wasnt bad enough they taste like old shoe.....the brown fat lines are gross.and after you cut that away whats left??????bout an 18in eye worth of meat if your good with the blade!!.the only reason i know is i cleaned a 12lber for a novice cause he wanted to eat it after pixs....worst tasting fish.......if more guys would just keep the males and let the girls go!!!one last thing.why if the charter captains make their livin off of the fish why not petition the dec to make a slot limit..1 fish over 24...5 under.....they sure did listen when the captains wanted all the steelheads,and left the stream fisherman high and dry????and so long 4 now;john

black jigs tipped with a worm ..and MARK its only 80 miles north of KINGSTON.....AND SO LONG 4 NOW;JOHN

spent 5days catchin eyes and green slimy bass...if you ever need a va ca or a cheap canada trip you can bring your girl and fish while she stays at the beach..i went with 4 guys and we got over 40 fish...some up to 6lbs,,,best 4 me was 22in eye...we stayed at kirk cove and we where treated great by jim-n-claire....pm me and i can give the who what where of info...and so long 4 now;john

on the water by 6am off by 1030...jigged, trolled, cast raps and blade baits..1 silver bass and 1 smb..no eyes for me.....went into a little back bay to see if there where any tigers...none to be had,,,,,,,,and so long 4 now;john

waddington is awesome from august on.if you can keep the gobies off you worm harness.above and below the Iroquois dam..also right in front of camp ground and village launch ive done well on 8++lb eyes...for serious trophies 12+lb..boq cant be beat for those....and so long 4 now;john
