my self and my partner spent a beautiful day on owasco.caught 50 keeper perch and threw that many back.couple of smallies ,rockies ,and 1 northern.all on minnows in 18-23 fow on the edge of the weedline on the north end.find rocks and weeds and we found the fish.

nice report sponge!!ive got season tixs to the su orange and its tough to go after labor day.how many empty cabins are there this time of year??ever try it around columbus day??

got on the lake @1st light.very cool mornin.fished the inside and outside of the weed edges. 8 perch 3 large smallies 1 very large sunny many rockies and quite a few dinks.most action was on deep edges 16fow.if the wind didnt blow ,would of done better.

sorry for the lateness of the post but here it is;8-19-25 fished every mornin got my limit everyday but one[monday we went lookin for some muskie action ,no lucktried a few evenins too same luck,none]caught lots of smallies and plenty of gobies.lost a few big fish but for the most part the eyes i found where in 40 fow on the bottom,either green or blue dixie on 6 oz of lead off a 3 way did the trick.if you personally want more details eme and i can tell you where other than iroquois dam area.

fished friday evening till 10pm.nothin but silver bass.this may be my last attempt trin to find the walleyes there this year.i mark big arches on my lowrance but they never take an offering.i dont know if the silvers are just too aggressive or the big fish are full of little fish???mabey i should ask my accountant about an underwater camera.has any one tried it on cross lake??

had the lake to myself.caught 1 muskie in the neighborhood of 36 inches,damn thing bit my finger so i was not in the mood to try to hold him against the ruler!! took some analog pixs,hope they come out!also 1 crappie ,1 catfish and i cant tell you how many silvers where hittin j13 husky jerks and thunderstixs!!however many muskies are stocked they ought to times it by ten and thin those bass out.still no walleyes but the muskie made up for it;and so long 4 now.

i keep trin the castin ,trolin route with very little luck.mabey live bait under a bobber??they are there just like the eyes but theyve got sooooo much forage,why would they take our offerins

my best set up is a 3way swivel.one eye of the swivel gets 4ft of 14lb leader,snap swivel then your favorite dixie spinner[green-n-blue tape on a sz 4 willow blade;6 blue beads and a green float .add i mustad sz 4 hook.for a dropper off the other eye of the 3way,add 1 foot of 10lb mono 4-6 oz of lead.connect last swivel of 3way to mainlin[14lb spiderwire.drift or troll this rig between25 and 50 fow.i spend a week up near waddington and this rig cant be beat.good luck

put the craft in the water 7-8-07,damn thing floated and the motor purred like a kitten.no complaints @ all .mike is a good guy too. now if only ebay sellers could be so forth comin and honest!!!

very little fishing traffic because the there are few bass areas so you dont get many boats flyin by you @50mph.its mainly lake cruisers.after 1030-1200 am just to much .the ditch is narrow so its tough to fish with 2 boats in the same area.

ditch.if your not there 1st thing in the mornin the boat traffic makes it difficult.and im more than dissapointed when i feel a bass on.its almost as if my iq drops 20 points just because ive got that green slimy thing at the end of my line!!ask my ex coworkers @bass pro shops how i feel about bass.it was almost humorous to hear how the guys would defend a fish that will eat almost anything.and thats suppose to be a challenge

got skunked again on the eyes.they've got to be there but where?the silver bass where more of a pain in the arse than small ies on the thumb!!must of caught 20 silvers on worm harness and even a few more on rapalas.trolled the river also,more bass and even landed a nice catfish that hit a perch rapala.with fuel @ 3.10 a gal it tough to make the run out to oneida every weekend!!guess its off to owasco next weekend for some nite fishing inbetween graduation parties!!and so long 4 now

got on the water @6am.2 eyes by 10am lots of silver bass and 1 large smallmouth.coulve caught more eyes if the bass would leave my presentation alone!!.best pattern was orange dixie and worm.lost 2 eyes on thunderstixs but where small.not a bad day and better than work for sure!!and so long 4 now;john

want to hook up @ night ??although i prefer do fish @1st light i also troll owasco @ nite.also what are the eyes doin when you see them??do they feed or just @ rest??there has got to be a method!!ill let you know if i figure it out.

fished the mornin lokkin for some eyes.tried worm harness,rapalas and bucktail jigs.in 30-40 fow then trolled around bucks point.no eyes caught 4 lakers though.where do the eyes go????????? it cant be just a nitetime fishery exspecially how green the water is!!the above works on oneida why not owasco?? any thoughts??and so long 4 now

i hada bobber rig set up with a red#6 mustad hook on 4lb line usin a 10ft noodle rod.its great for eyes!!but i wasnt usin it too many weeds.the only thing in the water was the red hook.i caught a fairly large sunfish on a bare hook!! so i tell my fishin partner bob ill use the sunny for bait for ****e and giggles.it wasnt in the water 1 min and the bobber is gone,so i causually set the hook50 yrds of line later fish off.i reel in still have sunny,try again ,5mins later bobber gone and flyin throgh the water.i wait let him chow down set the hook and bam straight out of the movie jaws its headed for the boat!!i play the fish foe 5 mins i never see it but bob says your net aint big enough!!.fish off.this little game goes on 3 more times.had this fish on 5 times !!!!!and could never get the hook set.usin a #6 mustad just couldnt do the job and thats all i had[never again]i saw the musky the 5th time and it was between 40 and 45 in.the biggest fish ive ever seen.if i didnt have a witness i wouldnt believe it.well thats my big gull lake story..cant wait till next year with treble hooks

spent last week in big gull lake.1 hour nw of kingston.the fishing was ok.caught most of the eyes in 20fow or less off of points and islands.most took jigs and black mister twisters.spent saturday tring new areas and techniques.a few northerns caught and a story of a lifetime on a muskie that was not landed but was caught 5 times!!.5 days 4 guys35 walleyes caught/not bad but we worked hard for them.if any body wants more info ill post it on this thread.and so long 4 now;john

graet mornin fishin other than the walleyes didnt know it!!no eyes again.1 ugly bass 1 carp half dozen fish lost.i even trolled the whole ditch no takers.saw no fisf caught other than bass.

ive tried the ditch and had some luck but the boat traffic makes it tough.i know those eyes are in cross lake ive just got to find the pattern that works!!any suggestions??

spent the mornin on cross lake today jigged and casted lookin for some eyes. no luck.did lose 2 thunderstixs to 2 big fish though,couldve been muskie but probably carp.never saw either fish.did make the mornin interestin though.

fished started biting early and never stopped ,caught eyes from 6-18fow all on black jigs over rock piles .my fishin partner got skunked but we managed to limit out on the eyes.lost 2 at the boat and had many more on.my partner got takin to school today!!all the stomachs where empty so the feedin is about to start heavy!! saw many schools of minnows too.withany luck ill be back on oneida friday!!

it may sound stubborn but,after 2 walleyes on green raps all three poles got green raps.size 14,jointed.good luck.as for the 3 guys in the drift boat.not very friendly and didnt want to answer why he had no light.he was catchin fish but had no brains
