  1. Selling my trailer we used for our 30’ pursuit the past 6 years. New tires and bunks put on last year by Krenzers. Trailer is rated for 12625, which is the only reason we are selling as our boat is over weight now with all the gear and bottom paint. Trailer can fit up to a 32’ boat. Trailer is currently located in Sodus Point. Asking $6000. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  4. We are excited to announce a first for a Lake Ontario event. New this year we will be streaming our weigh-in live on the Sodus Pro/Am Facebook page and our website. Along with the live stream, we will have up to date scoring posted on the website as teams weigh in. No more wondering how teams are doing for those of you at home! Also, we have multiple new teams already entered into this years event. We anticipate our largest field in the past 10 years. Despite the high water, tournament participation is alive and well and we look forward to seeing everyone in a few short weeks.
  5. Friendly reminder to everyone to drop off your entries to krenzer marine or have it post marked by tomorrow, to have your team entered into the early bird drawing to win your entry fees back. Entries are steadily rolling in and we look forward to seeing everyone there. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  7. Sodus Pro/Am is 100% a go for this year. Although the high water is playing havoc with the lake shore, we are lucky that the town and many of its businesses learned from the 2017’s high water and adjusted. We are very sad to hear about the struggles in Oswego due to the crazy high water. We look forward to seeing everyone in a little over a months time. If you have any questions please reach out. 8. The scoring system has never been private and posted here in the past. The scoring is calculated by the following: Day1, Day2 & Final placement each have their own points and are scored by placement in the field(1st -100, 2nd-98 and so on done to 60 points which is the lowest a team will get)... in addition each day you get 12 fish you will get 2 bonus points.... you also get bonus points for final placement (3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd)...so you will have three different scores added together along with your bonus points. The system does have its complexities but it is not an overly complicated. What it does is give points based on consistency of each day fished so in the end the best team rises to the top. Scores are calculated after each event and shared with the committee as a second check.... they will then be posted online here on LOU and at www.sodusproam.com Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. With tournament season just around the corner, I would like to remind everyone that the Sodus Pro/Am will be July 20 & 21. 1K/Day will start on Wednesday the 17th as usual. Captain Jacks will once again run Big Fish Friday and be our title sponsor again this year. Captain Jack’s continues to step up every year to allow us to pay out well over a 100%, so big thanks to Tom and crew. The website is updated for everyone to look over rules and print entry form. In the near future we will be creating an all new website that will have up to date fishing reports along with the ability to update the website during the tournament to let everyone know what is going on in real time. We look forward to seeing everyone again this summer and as usually give me a shout if you have any questions. http://www.sodusproam.com/

  13. The 2018 Sodus Pro/Am is shaping up to be another great one. Fishing has been spectacular this spring, with limits of kings and browns being caught almost daily along the east end. Just a friendly reminder that the deadline for the free entry is July 1st. So, please make sure yours entries get in early to be included! The dates for the tournament are the following: 1K/Day July 18th-22nd Captain Jacks Big Fish Friday: July 20th Main Event: July 21st & 22nd Krenzer Marine 3 fish challenge: July 21st & 22nd The website has been updated, so please visit www.sodusproam.com or www.soduspointproam.com for rules and entries to the Sodus Pro/Am and AM East End Cup. We will be updating the site regularly to keep everyone up to date and recognize our great sponsors.
  14. There are no observers required in the amateur division. We have heard from many boats that this has stopped them from competing in the past and eliminated it a few years back. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. The rule that we have gone with is that if you have ran a charter within the last five years then you need to fish pro. If you have a license but haven’t used it, we are not going to force you to fish pro division. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
