just got home 14 hrs in car with wife,we didnt fight (much) i think that counts for quality time ,,,gonna log that in for ammo for fishing trip, we used to do 5 card draw bass derby 1 card for each legal fish released ,honor system anyone can win no mater how many rods in the,i mean no matter how good they can catch fish sorta levels things out without killing more fish than we need ,it still would be ok to keep em if anyone wanted plus a couple would be needed for stix to fry up for us after fishing,,,,a lunker in each spiecies could be updated on radio so if some one had a 10 lbr ten 7 lbrs wont be brought in for nothing

sting sorry bout that thats what i call planing ahead my wife calls it a sickness whats with her?ok im pumped boat ran better than it did 6 yrs ago34mph with the wind never trimed it out 3ftrs from the south.trolled north for 3 mi nata spun around and in that window us bowhunters call the witching hour all heck broke loose had doubles on twice 4 5 6lbrs lost one then it was over very dark 2 were on ultra with 6 lb test. all big females landlocks jumping like fleas on a dead dog. wish someone took me up on my offer two more rods coulda been crazy.fishfinder was darn near blank running north but as darkness neared it was a different world fish every where looks like the south end is gonna be hot this year. should be out there monday morn,am fishing has about a 4 hr windowsometimes all daywhen the creeks warm 1/2 degree surface temp today 37degrees never droped probe but with the layer of fish marked at 100 to 135 ft im shure thats where the thermocline was today. but those big landlocks dont worry much about temp when there hungry,,,,me gots fresh fish dinner land locks for a couple meals,give a man some beer and he'll fish till its gone somptin like that..ray k

Yup check your fishfinder fish usually wont be where they cant breath :shock: cept in the cooler , oxgen analizer,ph.tester,color,temp,speed,current,camera,undewater lighting,sound sensors , oh yea and a release,i think Smith Hobart Collage has a rig you could borrow..or the navy geeze man give those fish a chance .. Big Flats legion,take big flats exit from corning right turn ,go 100 ft to stopsign turn right go to end of ramp to "t" in road big flats mod. homes to right andyoull see the driveway entrance a little kitty corner to your left , just before tracks ,cant miss it get there early and do a quick walkabout if your looking for a certain item then slow to a trolling speed (,cant belive i wont be in town man no way outa this one) on a happier note the little tackle shop in ohio thats got lots of old pirats,stinger ,and gold star,hanging where they been for the last 15 years should be open by now (always thinking never learing)call if ya cant figure these dir out 607 769 7947 ray

Zeke,most of us can get a trailer to bring but that inground pool thing gonna be tuff ive been digging on the neighbors pool for the last 1/2 hr its gonna take half the summer to get that sucker outa the ground oh better quit my whining and get back on the shovel, stix if ya get that trailer you were looking for i might need it to get this pool to the lake........

hope some of this stuff makes it to bait shops around the lake im more of a fish thinking personalty if it looks good im gona bite even if it cost me my last dollar,narbys ,capt cove ,fat nanceys,would cover my stopping grounds if they purchased a certain amount ya could give em free (ouch)or discounted links i might even elaborate on my opinion like dont go there unless ya want good advise ,huge lure ,tape, downriggerparts(capt cove),tackle,and flasher selection,good prices,fishing tips from people who live there ,and friendly service .........i ant got no credit card but always gotta little cash stashed somewhere..

Lou, my only experierence with the eel program is with cathrine creek ..many years ago the state put in eel barrier (dam) fish could jump but not eels.so they treated area from dam down which was good,,,,BUT a friend of mine who ownes the land tried for 10 yes 10 years to tell the dec that fish jumping the falls had eels attached to them finnaly the dec tested gravel beds above dam and shazam they found larva,for three years they tried to treat area ..so ive heard from local paper,trucks show up to treat creek but concertration level was callabrated for bigger flow rate than the creek was producing so they drove away with creek untreated ..as a fisherman who spends a little time on the water im aware of the damage the ells do to the fish,and fisheries...as a tax payer and licencs purchaser it kinda irks me but then again im a COMMON sence person,,,,,, 1st--13 years ago someone should have tested creek above dam,2nd ---some one should of maybe thought of sending someone to check flow rate so proper dilution was made,3rd--- how much did it cost to send trucks ,crew,chemicle,for nothing,4th--what happend to batch in truck and what was cost assoc. with disposing of unused items,,i could go on but common sence tells me not to .. I do care and want to halp thats why i do dec survays once in a while the common man must vent and toss a pebble maybe it will wake up someone on the other side of the glass.. Now IF ya want me to really rant lets talk about the beaver dams that block the major spawning grounds for Keuka lake COLDBROOK CREEK has been overflowing it banks due to beaver dams for 20 years ,, When I personally called avon office and spoke with collage egabucated person 18 years ago i was told i dont understand water hydrolics ....im getting #%%@##$ just thinking bout this tell ya what park at the small park lot near the old mecury aircraft i think its wheeler st that takes you there walk upstream 300 yds see for your self!!!!!!!!!! if i had a 1150 frontend loader i could have fixed the problem 20 years ago in one week alone for under 1000.00 bucks in fuel i volenteered my labor..Because I care,, probably 10 of us could buy homes overlooking lake onterio ,new boats ,2 cars,and a dog for the money spent on solving that water hydrolic mystrey in the last 20 years on that one creek ...hope this helps.

Stix , erase all your post here if your inshurance company finds out your a addict they might not cover ya.. I have a good friend who ownes a car body shop before ya save a few bucks on inshurance go to a body shop and ask what company they have the most problems ,collecting money, getting proper work approved,tells shop to put used parts on 1 or 2 year old cars ..sometimes a doller saved today isnt a dollar saved tommorow..put it this way would you get rid of your existing chain saws and buy black and deckers cause they were cheeper theres always a tradeoff.. wheres my camera keep those rollers clean.
