  1. How you doing MB, sorry you couldn't make it.Ray should have fished the east side, no fleas no green on top, only got one clump of weeds, it scared the hell out of me I thought I had the weight cought on bottom but it was one of those floating weed beds, took about 15min. to clear the cable. I hooked up twice and lost then both. Hope you got them curtians up I think Rays going to need a ride. I think he should go out and buy one of them boats like stix or stinger are riding in. More room for beer.MMMmmmmmm.

  2. Welcome to to the best part of N.Y.state.You can hit the Genesee river or Irondeqoit Bayfrom where you are in about 45min. You can go west of rochester and go out of Sandy creek or up to Oak Orchard. Check ( attheoak.com) good info. Then stop at the locale tackle shops and spend about $5000 on new toys. Feel free to go east also, theres a couple good tackle shops at Sodus Point and Fairhaven Bay. Oh theres good fishing there to. Don't forget to have a good compass and a GPS and a VHS radio on board. If you get cought in the fog with out them you'll be in a world of sh..t. theres a section on this board marked Ports and GPS numbers for all of them. The Charter Capt. will be on ch.68-72 and tell you where the fish are and what there hiting. If you got the money take a charter, you'll learn more in six hours on one of these boats then you'll learn in a year along. Good Luck and good catching. Hey where did you move here from?

  3. Had a great day fishing sat. didn't do much catching.I'd like to thank those that donated there time and effort to put on this durby,It was an enjoyable day and I hope I can make it next year. Like Ray K I'm also over the hill. Sorry to heir your boat passed Ray. Will there be a burial at sea. Mike...W.W.IV.

  4. Hey Fishinman, you were right about the bananas. I took that bottle of banana oil you gave me along friday and met Ray K. at Mexico Point to fish the LSRD. When he wasen't looking I rubed it all over my hands and went through all his tackle boxes and handled all hie lures. Well it was a long too days,we didn't do Sh$T. I must have missed some of the lures because we hooked up three times in two days. Sorry I couldn't let MuskyBob In on it because they worked hard trying to to get a hit. I did tell young Buffy about it, he said good that should quiet Dad down for a while. Looks like Team L.O.U.S.E.R.S lived up to its name. Sorry guys,I just didn't beleave the banana thing. What the hell we had too good days fishing Ray.----Mike.

  5. Ray K,Got your SOS(two more rods).I mentioned sat.to the wife, she said to leave now. Looks like I'm in, I'll pick up the worms on the way over. Theres nothing like a big platter of deep fryed Gobys after a hard days fishing. Ray do me a faver and check around Corning for a box of those astronut weight depends for me willya, there getting hard to find up here. I got your back Musky, I got a feeling you'll need more than to beers sat. afternoon. Ray is mikes marina on the east or west side of the river, last time I fished there they were thinking about puting in a break wall. How early are you going out friday morning? Where are you puting the boat in and where are you going to stay friday night. Are you all in the LOC Derby also? If I forgot anything don't worry I'll forget it agin. Was that Mexico N.Y.

  6. LJ, I Ran stacked dipies all the time and when the fish were hitting them it was great some days they wern't.I ran the smaller ones on a three setting out about30to 50ft. With spoons and the big ones with dogders and what ever. I stacked them about ten ft. above the weight. You still can run the wire divers without any problems most of the time. Use a good release or you will spend to much time reseting lines.Give it a try Also try the slide divers they may work better on the days the fish won't hit a standerd dipsie. Good luckand good catching.

  7. Silverspoon, did you by this boat last week and was it your first trip. you should have an alt. Is it an outboard or a IO. I was thinking IO. You mentioned a dipstick. I think you should have a marine mach. check it out before you spend any money on parts. If you don't have a alt. I don't know what would burn out the Reg. Try L-M he's on Port Bay, his shop is across from Pier One on the west side of the bay. Thats if its on a trailer. Lots of luck.

  8. Ray.get in touch with Dan Bishop. Hes a reg.7 manager DEC. He's a nice guy and I think he would be happy to talk with you. He likes to fish, take him for a boat ride some evening. Hey where are they having the weight in at Sodus,I might go to Syracuse sat, morning, thought I might stop by the bay on the way home and see how the L.O.U.S.E.R.S. are doing and meet a few of the winners. Where are you docking?

  9. Hey guys, don't worry about the blow boats. If it gets rought they won't leave the dock, there wives don't like to get bounced around and spill there tea. You should have your fish before they leave the dock. Alot of you will be docked next ot then,be good neighborsand take a case of there favorite beer over(keystone) maybe they'll be to sick to go out in the morning. Stay out of jail Ray,woulden't want to see all that good food go to waist.

  10. Hey team Servent, Team L.O.U.S.E.R.S. won't let you near that meal with beer, that calls for a fine wine. I might drive down to the dock and watch them eat. Good luck gentlemen. Hey Ray you got to run copper and rasberry Pirates. Mike.

  11. I fish from a 16fter and its a long ride to 100fow and 200-250 is a long ride if it goes bad. Thats out of the genny,I think its close to five miles out. Try the Oak,its only a short run to 100fow. The fishing there is great and getting better. Think safe have a good mounted compass on board, hand held compasses and GPS are useless when you need both hands to handle the boat. If you don't have a VHF at least have a weather radio. Good luck good catching.

  12. Well for one thing you just asked to much for one post, but if you go back about a month and go throught most of the past posts you will get all the info. you can stand for one vacation. when you get to town stop at Screwy Louies bait and tackle its on the main street. The browns are hot and with a little luck you should hit a few kings. Enjoy your vacation and good luck with the fishing.

  13. You can run anything you want of the boards as long as you get down to the fish.Run the first line out 100ft. clean second line out 100ft with one or two 3/8oz shots, third rod same with 3or 4 shots. keep your out side lines higher than the inside lines. If the fish are to deep you can run dipsies off them to widen your spread. don't forget leadcore if you use it. What kind of boards are you running? Have a good season.

  14. Hey Musky, before you turn on the blower open the motor cover and see if you smell gas if you do find out why.If you don't do that you've been doing or you can turn the blower on for five minutes every half hour or so. Have you fished the new boat yet?
