  1. Got the boat in the water and turned the key, dead battery!! Thanks to the guys who gave me a jump to get going. Set up east of the Genny and fished east for a while with nothing happening. Turned back towards the west and hooked up with a coho in 22 fow right off the river mouth. This would be the program the rest of the morning. Every pass took a fish in the same spot. Landed 4 browns and the one coho. Beautiful day out there but the fishing was slow. All sticks off the boards, 1rigger hit on a smithwick rouge which was the coho.

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================Launched out the Genny around 6:45am and started out in the bowl between the Genny and I bay. Water was pretty stained and we stuck it out a while. After 2 hrs of nothing we ran to I-bay and set up east of the bay. We ran all sticks, black/silver, firetiger, and black and gold with orange belly. Water had good color and temps pretty much were 37 degrees. We fished 7-12 fow and went 7-10all browns. The biggest was around 10-11lbs. Things kicked up from the NW and we pulled at noon and made the bounce back in 2-4fter's. All in all a decent day to start the season.

Went out yesterday afternoon and got set up heading East. Two quick hits with no one home. That was our night. Fish everywhere from 100-130fow. Meat, spin doctors and spoons. NBK Spin Doctor had the 2 hits. Beautiful night out there. Threw everything at them. Active streaking fish all over the bait. Be out again on the weekend.

What a difference a day makes! We struggled a bit yesterday only landing 5 fish for our 7 bites. Fish that 80-130 fow 1 king around 21lbs a skipper, 2 browns and a steelhead about 9lbs. Tough day, but the morning was beautiful after that 1st batch of storms rolled through. Big king came on a NBK Spin Doctor and green Hammer fly, Stingray NBK and stingray Gator took the rest. 70-105 down.

Took a couple of guys out from work who won a raffle for the charter with proceeds from the raffle going to charity. They had a great time catching fish. The smiles on their faces after landing several kings was worth a million. We landed 4 good kings up to 24lbs and lost 2 more big guys due to break offs, one on the copper after a 15minute battle, and another on the wire diver parked at 260 on a 2 setting. Fished east of the creek today. Alot of lakers today in the catch with a few steelhead and skippys mixed in.
