Does anybody know when these increases should happen if they go through?
i spoke to the dec last week about getting a lifetime license at the current rate and the gentleman told me to wait at least until september due to i paid for a supersportsman just this last september.
Probably not a good idea if they are going to hike them soo, i will run and get a lifetime now!!!
i would imagine its gunna go through and the new prices will prolly be for the 09-10 season.. so id say buy it now.

Can you guys tell me what is needed if I do fish the canadian side? I would like to come out of Wilson and drive to the canadian border from the water. What do I need just to fish not to land on the shore? Thanks

A-1 shut down by the launch, but their other location in Niagara Falls is still open. The guys in there were great, sucks to have to drive to the Falls now. The hardware store in Lewiston does have some bait. The # is 754-2301, I think they open at 8:00.

Hows the river looking now? im taking my first trip of the year tomorrow , were do you get Emeralds i have golden but i wish i had the Emeralds.

was a ton of ice in the river sat... and i mean a ton! not sure what it looks like now.... u can get emeralds at slippery sinker in Olcott.... kwikfish worked well for us

1-800-667-1940 is the phone # to phone order a canadian license... takes 4-6 weeks they told me to get your license... usually a good thing to have if you plan on fishing the bar in the early spring

Do any of you guys know if you can launch at Wilson Boatyard and then keep boat on the trailer at the boatyard, so I dont have to tye up a slip for a 23ft boat? Thanks Sean
the State Park offers a few docks.. i beleive there 15 or 20bucks a nite.. first come first serve basis
