The boat I was on ran two deep riggers near bottom with flasher fly. Two j plugs up higher on the two higher riggers. Didnt take a shot on a dipsy in two days...alot of weeds gathering on them was prob the issue I assume. A few shot on the 200 coppers up high and a few shots on the 350 copper

Was on a charter the last two days. The flasher fly was run back further than usual. Between 30-60ft back. And as missdemeanor added there was always a rig in the bath water which was around 50ft down where we were on the east end and that rig did well. The bathwater rig was a small #3jplug.

While trolling when its about to stall i choke it and it purrs like a kitten but it doesnt last long and runs rough again Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

With my 70hp my boat will top out at 30mph and now i put the throttle down and it goes 9mph wide open. I can get it to 2.8 to 3.5 mph trolling speed and it runs a little rough while trolling and if i go any slower it will stall and while trolling i have to hit the choke every 15min or it will stall or as it feels like its gonna stall i throttle up a hair. Any thoughts on whats going on? Just changed the plugs and run non ethanol gas. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

headed up to fish seneca and cayuga next week, wondering if anyone has been fishing there and if the bass are still up shallow spawning, any info would be awesome thanks

Thanks for the info. Wasnt sure with the cool spring whether it slowed the spawn. Seems like the trout in the lake are still pretty shallow as well so was just wondering on the bass.

Going to seneca lake to do some bass fishing next week. Has anyone been fishing either lake? If so are the bass in shallow or spawning yet? Any info would be great.

Heading to sampson state park tomorrow through sunday. Was wondering how bad the floating weeds are now and how the fishing has been.

Got caught in that wicked t-storm on seneca saturday! The worst i've ever been in. It went from calm to blowing 60 mph in a matter of minutes. The waves were 6-7 feet. Scary stuff. The fishing was awsome all weekend though. Wasn't sure we could get back in. It was a tough ride. Just be careful out there!
