I will have a 1988 24' Crestliner Sabre for sale in a few weeks. Currently under going a minor restoration.
You can PM me if interested.

It looks like a nice boat. Renkens quality was always suspect, probably going to have to drop the price considerably.
Good Luck

Why wouldnt it work for an inboard?????
Sent from my Lenovo P780 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Prop and rudder would never clear the back x-bar!

What size are the tires? I dont think you have the capacity right. Most likely #5250 for 21-23ft. Still interested! PM sent

Was out just ahead of you. Fished 10-100ft, with a mixed bag of browns, lakers, and steelhead. The biggest being twin lakers at 14lbs.

This has certainly gone off the topic of the original post.....
But as long as I am here....
None of em are worth a darn with out a manual tranny!

what year and how big is it?
Post title says 1989 23'

No to the bar, because I just don't like them.... lol
I would just do corner riggers. A center rigger with an I/O is just asking for trouble.
Def do the Rocket launcher!

What length are the arms?

Rods are sold!
Thanks everyone for your interest.

Reels are off to Tuna Toms and then back in service.

Need these gone.
40$ for all

I have...
2 Penn Fathom Masters $15ea
1 Daiwa Regal Strike SK-786 $15
1 Berkley Shadow. $10
All are 8.5 ft and were used for downrigging and are in good to great shape.
The Berkley is a spinning rod, but rigged well and was never an issue....
The reels are...
1 Penn 209 $15
1 Ocean City True Temper 923c. $15
Both reels have worn drags but
are in great shape and would be ok for back ups.
$50 for the lot

I was out this past Monday. Spent most of the time trying to get out of the wind. Anchor wouldn't hold and it was fricking cold!! Once we settled, we hit em pretty good. Just past the last markers, tucked in the cove on the left. 20fow. Out tomorrow as well. Gonna be a cold one!

Edit: No need for snide remarks Shakemsam. We try to help the new guys. -mb

The part I really have a hard time with is how he knew your real name. How is that? A little disturbing and unsettling. Who did he have on board? Someone you know possibly? Weird.
Im the OP's name is Jack, and the the loudmouth used it more as an adjetive than a noun!
This post reminds me of the combat fishing we use to have in Rochester during the ESLO days in the late 80's.
If any one is familar with the Charlotte Harbor, you would know about the sailboat races every Sunday Morn. In the late 80's we a sailer cut a charters lines. The Charter Capt. proceded to light up the sail with a flare gun. That thing lit up as quick as you could imagine!

3rd time this summer with only 1 fish and less than 5lbs....wth

Thought we would take advantage of the flatter water and headed out late afternoon to watch the sun come down.
Which is pretty much all we did. Trolled between Russells and Braddocks 120-180ft 80-100ft down. Just as the sun dipped, took a small steely on a dipsy and squid 175 out.

Cant believe you are still sitting on this!
If I was in the market for a trailerable glass boat, Pro-line or AquaSport would be my choice!
Some body is getting a great rig! Good Luck!
