  1. Had to work so got there late afternoon.Talked with zack for a minute or two(i was trolling in no mans land  )mid lake and headed north following gus and wendy but descided to hit east side.Trolled for a spell and passed larry around mcphearson.Descided to cast a favorite spot(was in there earlier when i first arrived but junk on top made it difficult to cast-blew out later) and hooked into a fat-n-sassy 38 on a musky killer. It was pretty cool watching as he came up from behind and engulfed it.I WAS NOT PREPARRED :o .Net was a chore to extend while holding rod under my arm while trying desperatley to release the buttom(2 of them) on the handle. It was a site and larry was too far away at that point.Got er in and larry took some pics for me -thanks.Very happy with the one fish, glad i got out.

  3. Thanks to chad he has allowed me to post this listing in our forum.I have been selling a bunch of musky baits over on ebay(they`re gone) and made mention that i was giving a %`age to Larrys bait fund.Well one of my buyers(and whom i`ve bought from in the past -spacdja)sent me a brand new Amma Bamma 10" crankbait to sell on Ebay with the proceeds to go to capt.Larry(100% of the sale, with free shipping). So i invite you to visit the musky/muskie lures section and do some bidding.Go in on it with a friend or your partner-remember where the money is going!!I just listed it a few minutes ago(solgrande)This is a great bait and well made.If it was`nt i would not have went and bought one for myself :)

Keep in mind that this is a donated bait from someone(Sandy) outside of ny(MI) willing to help out the muskies of newyork state!!!

    Thank you Chad

Thanks and good luck with the muskies this year

  4. Most of my fish have come in the top of the water column,i`ve mostly trolled up to this pt.3.5-4mph.Sometimes 20ft back some @75`(mainly im around 30-35`back).Perch colors are good as well as firetigers(there are many variations-maker to maker)Yellow cisco kids work to.Greens...lime,chart etc.for trolling.Watch your drag!!Also don`t be affraid to launch lures in no-mans land.Picked one up casting back out into the basin over deep water on an orange tiger tuff shad(eastside-just south of the camp).

As far as the best time...that would be anytime you can get yourself on the water.Time on is the most important for me.Have had succes on blue bird days(when they say its not good) as well as crappy weather.I change up alot when they`re not biting.Just works for me.

    Cya and good luck
