The 16 pound weights won't kill the motor Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
I just got two brand new Cannon mag 10 STX riggers for my new boat . I want to get some heavier weights and I'm wondering what you guys are running. The book says the Cannons will handle 20 lb weights but I don't want to do that and Bernie's things up within a few years. What do you guys recommend. Also where do I find torpedo weights and what are the best weights to run. I've been using 12 lb rubber coated Cannon Downrigger balls for years and want to go bigger Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

What do you fish the weighted Steel in a 19 strand off of. Do you Flatline it off the back or do you run it off of boards Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Has anybody used these. Either the single Axis or the Dual axis. I really like them but I've heard some bad things about a pin coming loose Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Has anybody used these. Either the Dual Axis or the single axis rod holders. Looking to outfit my boat I have heard some bad things about a pin coming loose in the rod holder. I am wondering if that is the case still because I really like them. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

For next season I am going to pull the trigger on a new Commander 2050. I looked at 1 yesterday and fell in love. How much money am I going to save by buying at the winter show in Syracuse in February. Can't really get a straight answer out of the dealer as expected. They had one in stock at the dealer but it doesn't have all the features that I want. I don't want to settle because this is going to be the boat that last me for the rest of my life. He said bottom line on the boat right now was just under $43,000. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

How is the fishing in the fall we're late summer at Sodus. Is it too far away from the major rivers to bring in the mature Kings Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I had a friend show me this trick and I thought I would share . It is half inch PEX tubing Cut 2 inch long. You can even label what fly it is on the tubing. Fits great in a little Plano box and keeps them nice and neat. I tried it all and this one is by far the best. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

fishinfreak replied to dry net's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
Check out fish doctor charters video tips. Gives you a great video on how to make a good knot for wire. Might have to do it from a computer doesn't populate well on my mobile phone Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

What color flies and when do you use them . Dark or light conditions Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Is there certain days whether there be sun or clouds that you decide on what colors you're going to initially run . I usually start with greens and whites and see which one is working. I never have the confidence to go with anything fancy. Like a 42nd spinny or an nbk spinny Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
