Thank you for the info I don't have the ability to lock my boat though. It's a 21 ft crestliner Commander. I got rod storage on the sides but it doesn't lock. I would hate to have to bring all the rods to the truck every night. Thank you

Are there any tackle shops in Dunkirk? Going out there in the middle of July. Also I'm going to be keeping my boat at Chadwick Bay Marina for the weekend. From what I understand it's gated with 24-hour security. Is there any problems with theft in that area? I'm sure as the rest of you no we have a lot of money in electronics and equipment on our boats. Thanks to all

So I installed a brand new Lowrance Elite fs9. When I turn it on this is what I get for sonar. I can read the temperature but I'm not getting any readout. From what I've gathered online it will not read unless it's submerged in water. Some sort of safety feature. But my older Lowrance Elite TI does not do this. Has anybody had any experience with this. I'm hoping once I dump it into the water it will start reading. Thanks to all

I'm setting up some Lead Core rods for walleye. I'm using Seagate 50 size reels but I'm looking for some Rod recommendations. It seems like these copper Lead Core rods are very Stout and too stiff for walleye. Even for a big 10 lb walleye it just seems like Overkill

Any idea what this would be from. Took this fish off a downrigger today. The blood is from the hook that we removed but this is how he came in the boat. I have no idea how it even eats or took the lure. Any idea what would cause this

Skunked on Monday. 80 to 110 feet fish everywhere but no luck . Took a good rip on the Dipsy and missed one on the downrigger but other than that I trolled for 5 hours all the way past the power plant. Going to give it one last run Saturday -
