  3. How are you guys using the Scotty snubbers with the X4 probe. I used it for the first time yesterday and had to use the Breakaway cable as well to make the connections work. I would just like to be able to use the snubber between the probe and the ball but the attachments on the snubber do not allow for that. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. Finally got the new Crestliner commander on the water and fishing. Everything worked great and I'm very happy with the boat. Fishing was a little slow and please beware there is floating debris everywhere and a big log about 6 in under the surface on the West Shore. Anyone going out on Cayuga be super careful. Water is ice cold 54 on the top and 44 30-foot foot down. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. I have noticed on some of my Spin Doctors and pro troll flashers the tape has shrunk and peeled. Some of the tape has shrunk to half the size it was before. It happened on both brands. I got some new ones and don't want it to happen again. Granted some of these flashers were 10 years old. And I have not been on the water in a few years before I noticed it. How do you guys store your flashers. I have to believe it is something that I did so I don't do it again Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. I believe the theory behind it is. When the probe is down in the water the water is much colder therefore the air that is trapped in the chamber is cooled. When you bring a probe to the surface and it's a hot summer day the air molecules heat up and can rapidly expand increasing the pressure inside the probe. 22. It tells you to unscrew it in the maintenance section. It dont say why but factory guy said its very important. That is the majority of their failures Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. I had a question on mounting the transducer last week so I call the factory. After getting my questions answered. The gentleman told me to make sure to unscrew the probe battery cap when done for the day . He said if you dont it will eventually crack from the pressure inside and that is not covered under warranty. Just putting it out there take it for what its worth.
