All aluminum, base plate is 19" x 5" x 3/8". Tubes are 2" x 11" with flared tips, tube have pin in bottom to lock rods but can be taken out if not needed. Each rod holder is is set at an angle so rod tips don't get in the way of each other. They tip out, 5* 10* 15* to the side then towards the back 2* 4* 6* so the offset is real nice. With the plate being heavy flat aluminum you can drill and mount as you need. The price is for the pair, located in Hamburg NY 14075

I have a 115HP Johnson on a 19' aluminum boat with a built in "trailering bracket" does not attach to the trailer. Would guess in the past 12 years trailered 20K miles without an issue, plus a 8hp.

many many years ago when the lake was a different color, I would not leave the dock with WD40, but with the clarity it is today I think the fish use their eyes more than their nose.

I had read many years ago that the female may not spawn if no male is found when she is ready, who knows?

my thoughts, I think the easiest way for the state to help us control this is closing off the streams. I would suggest not to close the stream in it's entirety, but to close it say 4 out of 7 days a week.  So if fishing when closed, here comes the ticket and now the DEC only has to really watch for 3 or 4 days a week they could do a better job. Some streams close early in the week and others later so opportunities are available to fish.

With reproducing just last fall on the catt I caught 2 rainbows (same day) that were fingerlings 3-4" so some are making it.

A boat is a good start.......that's one big question, only kidding on the boat, I'm assuming you have one. I would say just keep reading on here in "tackle & techniques" you will get so confused but at least get the idea.

not sure of the trailer setup, but have you tried to "drive" the boat on, then maybe all you need is a hand crank or two to finish. I had a 24' and it drove on a bunk trailer very nice, now with a 19' its a piece of cake.
