  1. I know this boat and I can attest this boat has never missed a maintenance schedule or anything that was needed. One owner is impressive.
  2. Since I moved to N Carolina I have no use for my Smart Troll. It is a complete 3 probe system. Transducer, receiver, charger block and the 3 probes. It is a blue tooth devise to use with a Android. The Android is not included. The probes I have show depth and temp (no speed) I used them on dipsy mostly and some copper. They are a game changer for sure, you can drop your lure right into the thermal cline and fish on! I will post pics in the next couple of days. visit Smart Troll to see more Scott 71 six 480 770 two

  14. Closed for the season, launch and slips. Saw a letter to a slip holder from the town of Evans that they will be fixing the break wall and need to close for the season. Bummer!
  15. my 19' 97 Lowe has aluminum floor, original owner, a few years ago I pulled the carpet out and lifted the floor, just to see under it. Plywood at seat bases and foam every were else, all under floor was in great shape, just popped riveted it back down w larger head rivets and Grizzly paint. Sure theirs some flex in it, buts its aluminum, no big deal.
  16. we went out of Olcott Saturday, never deeper than 120' most of the time in 60ies. Went 4-4 on kings all mature. The best part was we had no net and didn't lose a single one, 3 within 2 hours of daylight and the biggest just over #25 hit at 12:05 just as we started clearing rods.
  17. run a 19' Lowe, Motorguide Xi5, 24V, 72" shaft, 8HP kicker, as mentioned above, works great.
  18. even on nice days right at the mouth of the river there is a pretty good chop, so don't let that fool you as the lake may be just fine once you pass through
  19. as said, either fixed or sliding, ONLY run spoons or you will have issues. I max out the length of the cheater to 7' due to boat size and a long enough net.
  20. does the splash well get water in it at the dock in calm weather? maybe its the splash well that is leaking. Out of the water you could try plugging the drains and just fill the well and see what happens
  21. thanks for all the suggestion on filling the holes, but as Great Laker said holes are "standard" size, so it's just a drop in install.
  22. Great Laker, I did realize that the mounts are standard, my Johnson has the spacing you mentioned, thanks for that info, very helpful! Scott
