  2. I didn't read every reply given, but on my 19' the mast is in the seat base. I extend the length of the mast to 8'. I did have rod holders same as yours, so I took the 6 out cut them in half and just moved them all the way forward on each side, totally out of the way for any turns. I too have have a clip with a "pull in" line inside the windshield, in my opinion this set up works great and all rods are still rigged and ready Scott

I think the base is the same size as the base for downriggers, so I do have a base

  8. Nick I'll go with the flow, put me in for 10, 6 packs....sounds like I'm ordering beer! PM sent
  9. Scotty pinch pads are what I use for all coppers. With big 400/500 lines I can easily adjust the depth I want to run them at with a SmartTroll in line, telling what depth the point is at. This way I don't have to count marks on the copper and more or less guess what depth I'm at. The SmartTroll's do have a price attached, around $1,200 to start, but with the limited amount of time I have to fish they are well worth the cost. You can run up to 6 in line and signals back to your Android device.

    Info

I have a 450 and 550 on them, not sure who much backing but more than enough. blood run copper. I think it gets so heavy on the fish when they hit that you don't need a ton of backing. that is on the 60, the 50 I have 300, 350
  15. I have interstate batteries in my golf cart (6-8v) 4 on my boat, 1 on my generator, 1 in tractor and 1 in lawn mower, never a problem with any. Maintenance is the key to a good battery Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Black Horn 209 in my opinion is the best to load. However over the years of using it it is far superior in repeatability of accuracy to weight the load, not measure it
  17. Colville floats, never had a issue Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. As said keep shots to 35 yards max, 25 is my max. As a tracker for deer search it is crazy the number of unfound wounded deer on shots past 35 yards mostly with cross bows. 10 point is my vote Scott
  19. being on the ground for that buck is crazy good!!
  20. Being a NYS licensed tracker I would not hesitate to report him and tell him that I was doing it, after we recovered the bear so he couldn't get to keep his poached price!
