Sold / Closed 19:Foot Lowe Roughneck

I have the same boat and absolutely love it, fishes extremely well and yet I can handle it by myself with no issues. This is a welded all aluminum boat, including the floor, top of the line in construction. Good luck the sale.
  13. I have an aluminum floor, if I remove a (screwed in place) access cover I can measure it, I’m pretty sure it is no more than 1/8”, and my stringers or supports are approx 12” on center with closed cell foam filling the cavity’s between them so 1/8” would be more than adequate. I re-drilled and used large head aluminum rivets to put floor back down Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. The original aluminum floor in my boat had dark blue carpet on it for 15 years or so, never got any hotter than any other floor type w dark carpet. 2 years ago I removed the carpet and installed Kwi-grip in a light gray. I’m never bare foot but it is cooler than the carpet. Maybe if you didn’t cover the aluminum it would get hot, but I think the blinding reflection would be way worse. Aluminum is a forever product Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. My Lowe 19’ has an aluminum floor, I did have it out it flexed but stayed fairly rigid, guessing 1/8”. Try contacting Lowe they may still be installing aluminum floors and could tell you the thickness gauge Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  22. I, like a lot of us have a small 19' boat. The problem is we own many rods and storage is tough. I can deal with the storage part but knowing what rod is in what locker is the problem. What I came up with is a simple painters tape and a marker. When I'm getting rods stored for a fishing outing I take a piece of painters tape and write down the rods I put in that locker. On my boat it's on the inside of the access panel, next trip if rods are changing its only a piece of tape. Here is an example, and sometimes I have 5-6 rods shoved in one locker. Scott

  24. Most of the councils were aluminum and when not screwed down flex all over the place. If yours are you will have to remove the windshield to square up the council boxes again. Not that big of a deal to do, just takes some time. With an aluminum boat I would consider aluminum for the floor. Scott
