  4. Broadcast some winter rye or Buck forage oats and Hit the turnips with some Urea just before rain is forecasted. That should take care of your issue. The cereal grain will fill out the plot and you’ll still have some turnips. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  11. They will be fine. I plant mine same time every year and we had plenty of rain early August for them to establish. Hit them with some Urea , 46-0-0 just before a rain in early September and they will explode. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. Thanks for having me up Bill ! That ground tilled up nice again this year. I’ve had a busy couple months. We are working over 10 acres of plots between 2 farms and I’m doing some side jobs in between. mowed 4 acres of clover this past week and fertilized it we put in 3 acres of soy beans and they are almost chest high in areas. Deer are crushing the beans but they can’t keep up with the growth rate and size of the plot. All about the protein now. Clovers doing great also Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
