Dollars to donuts this isn't something that we will have to worry about next year. I know that the regulars all pitch in to get the major obstructions out of the way on a rolling basis - winter deposits various logs and whatnot - but it's good to know that there's another pair of hands to help.
If you're going to try to get the hot tub out, though, let me know. I want to be there filming lol.
Thanks Keith. I've never owned a hot tub before. Hey, maybe with some gorilla tape I might be able to patch her up. Tommy, how about we set it up at the marina?

As some of you guys know, I bought the "Mr. Breeze" boat this past weekend. I'm not going to put her in until next spring. I heard there is also a large tractor tire buried in the mud in the middle of the creek just North of Tommy's. The last thing I want to do is hit one of these objects. I have a 14' aluminum boat, a couple of come a-longs and a large grappling hook. The 14' boat with oars would be a lot easier to maneuver in the creek than a large fishing boat. I'm retired and free anytime, I just need some help getting those things out of the creek. Let me know if you want to get together and spend a couple hours to get these things out of the way so no one else hits them.

Chuck,
I am so sorry to hear about Mike. Brian is right when he says Sandy Creek will never be the same. Anytime I ever saw Mike whether it be the Sandy docks, Niagara Show or a weigh in, he always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. My wife and I had been praying every night for him when we found out about him having Covid. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Don't feel so bad. First time for me in over 30 years empty handed.
-
Eli and Easton,
Congratulations to both of you guys. That smile says it all. NICE JOB. Stop in the store sometime.
-
You guys did great. It's nice to see the kids out there fishing too. To many kids sitting at home playing video games and on their cell phones.
-
Congratulations. That's one huge king for this time of the year. You would have won the LOC.. How fast were you guys trolling if you don't mind me asking.

It means we can start fishing tournaments and derbies again.

Thanks Scott and Les

Back in my former life I used to operate the Main Street lift bridge in Brockport and there were a lot of good bass spots between there and the Hulberton bridge
I don't fish it enough. Only once in a great while and it is right in my back yard. I'm either going to Sandy, the Oak, Braddock's or the finger lakes. Unfortunately things are going to be different for me and the kid this year. My 17 year old loves bass fishing so we are going to be hitting the canal a lot. Is it safe to eat the fish out of there?
-
The canal is directly 1/8 mile behind my house through a woods. Looks like I'm going to be fishing out of the canal a lot this summer.

I went both days and I agree great information. Nice prizes and picked up some good tips. A lot of good information shared. Thanks Dan, Rob and Lucas.

Just got home from work a little while ago. We sold more pistol and rifle ammo today than ever before. A lot of first time gun buyers also. It was insane.

Pete, Andy and Matt you guys did an outstanding job at this years Salmon School. I missed last years school. You guys put a lot of hard work into this and it showed. You weren't afraid to share tips and information and I thank you that. I have a 21 foot Starcraft and I'm always wishing if I had a bigger boat I could do this or do that or do better. Yes a bigger boat would be nice with more room and being able to move rods out of the way when needed but when it comes down to it, it's the knowledge of what to do when being out there on the water. Actually it starts when you do your homework prior to being out there and looking at the previous weather and wave conditions and you guys shared that in great detail. I remember the phrase from a famous fisherman and author, "Knowledge is the key to fishing success". I want to thank you guys for sharing your knowledge with us fishermen and fisherwoman. I spent a lot of money this past weekend at the show and things are going to be a little different on my boat this year. I can't wait to get out there. Thanks again.

To those who never made an attempt to vote, don't complain when you see the things that this guy is going to do to us gun owners. To those of us who voted for Astorino, all I can say is," we tried".
I said this 5 and a half years ago. There are some people who complain about Cuomo and his cronies but haven't bothered to vote in years. You can get up at 4:00AM and fish all day or sit in a tree stand but you can't take ten minutes to vote. Makes me sick. Wait until you see what he wants to do for Phase 2 of the Safe Act. It's going to get worse unless we get him out of office.

I have had four guys ask me in the last two weeks if we carry Blackhorn 209 powder. I spoke with my manager and we will start to carry it. We won't get a lot at once but we will start carrying it soon at Runnings Brockport. We just got a bunch of CVA and Traditions products. From what my coworkers say, the muzzleloading stuff sells fast.

Billy,
Nice fish. Tell Hans to not be a stranger and stop in at Running's in the hunting/fishing department and visit me. He only lives a mile away and tell him to bring his wallet and plan on shopping there three to four hours. I've been working there two months and it's costing me more money to work there.

That is GREAT. I will glad to have him show me next spring. I've never had a boat like this.
