  1. Hi ya Chris I pretty much fish with riggers. just started to use a diver but nothing yet. Ok, how far behind the ball are you lures? The watchword of late has been "get them away from the boat". with riggers i go will long leads. i use mostly spoons and above 50' i have them back 125' behind the ball. I shorten that as i go deeper. but not less then 75' Second. your line. are ya using a invisible type line? fluorocarbon type? that made a big difference with me. Next I would have to say speed. Run the lure along the side to make sure it has the right action. Have ya got a graph? if so watch it to see where the fish are located in the water column, not forgetting to let out extra cable. Lastly, some times it just bum luck. I have a friend that has far better equipment them me, has taught me how to fish the big lake and for the last 2 days has only caught 2 fish. Nothing of any REAL size wanted to play but was fun to be out. Tacklebox Bill called me to tell me that thermocline was down around 80. Spent most of my time there. After 3 hours of fishing deep in pulled my riggers up to 62 feet of cable and started getting hits. Fished 62 feet of cable the rest of the day.   3. Hey Chris, Hate to say this but ya made me feel better. I lost a nice size king at the boat that strightened out the clasp on the swivil! (lost my brand new purple stinger ta boot!) Saw afew pods of bait fish and hooks but all-in-all a slow day. Even had a nice chop on the water but wind was from the east. Never heard anything good about an East wind.   5. Got out around 4pm. trollled out to 350 with hardly a mark. Just as the sun was setting I caught a nice 8.5 Laker on a pink/silver NKmag over 170 fow. Hope others did better! Buckshot channel 69
  6. Nice King bill! I was out Monday. started in 150 and worked back in. went 4 for 4 nice 14 lber is all i can brag about but he put up a nice fight. black/purple and black/worked for me. Buckshot
  7. Hi ya's New to this site but not new to fishing Ontario. I have a 16footer i use to fish out of the wayne county area. I have the radio going and answer to the call "Buckshot".
