I caught this bass around early May in sackets harbor steelhead fishing. What do you guys think he weighed? Caught him on a perch mimic minnow at the mouth of a creek.

How far are you running back the spoons off the riggers that close?[/

We we're running 60-70ft. leads off riggers that day. About the same off the boards.

Nice looking mud chicken Dan. We did about the same as you offshore. That brown bite nearshore was good while it lasted. My buddy keeps threatening to bring his cowbells and peanuts along. I guess it's just a matter of time before we go farming.

Is it just me,  or is Finger Lakes tackle website down? 

Congrats on new boat. That is sweet looking.

Got into some browns between outlet and Shipbuilders. 23 fow was deepest we had to go. Hot spoon was a Finger Lakes tackle green/white and a ugly looking moonshine white/purple with green spots off riggers. Took fish off otters on spoons with 2 rubber core sinkers in front also. Ended up 11 fer 14. Wind started really honking so we picked up at 1030 to run to Mitchells with this. Currently 5th.

I'll 2nd the sailflow.com. I've had good luck with it since it was recommended by somebody here couple years ago. The wind direction and speed forecast is much more local as compared to NOAA. My 2 favorite words are light and variable.

Real nice Dan. Thanks for the report. Our PM troll didn't pan out too well. Soon as we set up east wind picked up and the temp breaks broke up. The girls on board got cold so I had to head into the wind to keep them in the sun. Gggrrr!! We ended 3 fer 4 with one nice 12lb steelie.

Thanks for the detailed report Chris. Heading out right now for an afternoon troll. The Vektor charts in the NY Outdoor News say a 3 PM bite. I don't have much faith in those sun and moon tables, but we'll see.
