  3. As a long time sponsor and participant I think any input we can get from both people already fishing in the Pro/Am's or simply interested in them should be welcomed. This year I believe we saw a major step forward with the new trailer and scale system for weighing the fish. How nice was it to see a teams total score without having to add different weights together because the old system couldn't handle over 100 pounds at a time. Looking to next year I would like to see the open division incorporated into the same video screen setup we used this year and maybe add a couple more monitors towards the back of the tent so everyone can easily see them. How about having the top 20 teams weigh in reverse order on Sunday to add some excitement? A live feed for the weigh in is a great idea, along with getting the results posted on the web site the same day. Right now perhaps we need a few more volunteers to make some of these things possible. I agree with everyone who has posted that you need to have fun in these events no matter where you end up finishing. I've had the great fortune to fish with the Cold Steel team now for 6 years and I can tell you we make it a priority to have fun! We have done very well in the tournaments also which certainly helps with having fun but we have had our bad days and we still find something to laugh about. So if you are even a little competitive give one of these tournaments a try, even if you finish last you still will have had a day on the water with friends fishing and that's hard to beat. If every team that fished in an event this year got one new team to give it a try next year imagine what those tournaments would be like! Good luck to everyone the rest of the season and hope to see you in Oswego for the A-TOM-MIK event in a few weeks.

  10. This years Calcutta during the Oswego Pro-Am will have an added bonus brought to you by Pathfinder Bank, Fat Nancy's Tackle Shop, and other sponsors to be announced. Here is how it will work: $5000 in cash will be added to this years Calcutta and all you need to do to qualify is be entered in the Pro division of the tournament, pay $250 to enter the Calcutta, and agree to no communication during the event. 100% of entries will be paid out including the $5000. If we can get 20 boats to sign up for this we will have a $10,000 pot to fish for on top of the actual tournament. The plan is to pay back 25% of the boats that enter, so if we get 20 boats in we will pay the top 5. 12. We carry extra keels for the otter boards. If you run two only use one weight or they will sink, also make sure the keels are going in the same direction or your board will run straight out the back of the boat, just ask the Yankee Troller boys!
  13. I will be heading out to Wilson for the Pro-Am Wednesday night, if anyone needs any last second items I would be happy to bring them out with me. We have gotten our shipment of Shark weights in for the year also. Send me an email at fatnancys @yahoo.com and we can set it up. See everyone out there. Rob
