  1. I have one that I'm currently not using since I changed downriggers. The problem is that they are so hard to find at the moment and if I go back to my Cannon DT 20's at some point I will regret selling it. Did you ever try bringing up a 12-14 weight by hand down 110 feet when your downrigger shorts out. Not much fun! Good luck in your search and I will let you know if I see one for sale.

During the recent primary he stated on TV  that the SAFE Act was only a start on gun control and that he intends to increase his efforts so nothing has changed in that regard. By the way I don't 'hang out" there... the article was sent by a friend. I figured it is something folks on here who own guns should know about BEFORE the next election. Not that it will make a difference as three of the downstate counties will determine the results again just like last time

Hang on to your guns and ammo. The Dems control both houses now. Anti gun legislation will really pick up now.

Peppermint oil is good but keep refreshing it about every month. I just heard a new one by using flea and tick collars cut them into pieces and spread them around. Never tried it. I also use the plastic bottle peanut butter mouse trap

Thanks. Funny you should mention the self contained mouse traps. Those little suckers wouldn't go into them. Never caught one at the camp with them although I know they were there by what they left behind. Lol.

  4. Dryer sheets did nothing to keep the mice away from our camper last year. Neither did mothballs. This year we are trying some peppermint bags and oil and we'll see if that can keep them away over the winter. Someone told us that was the only thing that worked for them. We will see!

Water is dropping as we speak and will really drop in the next few weeks. They have removed the bouys from the north end of the lake to prepare to drop the lake level. I keep my boat at frontenac marina and they called me Friday to tell me it was time to get it out or I might not be able to

You need to change your home port on your avatar:lol: We used to keep our boat at Frontenac when the Castelli's owned it. Used to like it a lot back then. Came back for awhile after they sold it. Ended up on Lake Ontario the last 4 years. New owners at Frontenac seemed like nice people for the couple of years we spent there before going to Lake Ontario. How do you like it there?
