You are missing my point! At the beginning of my post I clearly stated what he did was wrong! I don't condone what he did. LOU isn't about airing "grievances" or personal attacks! But I will ask you the same question.Do you feel any member should be fair game? DWI, domestic violence dispute.. etc ? Wife beater vs poacher? Who's worse? Because this also sounds personal!
He's supposed to be a professional and set examples to his clients that come to him to learn the tricks of the trade. He deserves everything he gets

For sure. Launching docks are a foot under water. If you are familiar with this launch....the water is over the steel beams that the ramp docks are attached to. We launched my 22.5 Crestline that last week. I stayed in boat and drive to floating docks to pick others up. Also drove back on trailer when loading. My buddy had to have boots to hook winch up. Here's a pic from 3 weeks ago. Water was over everything in the pic last week. You can launch but he careful..olcott is better option and fish were headed that way last weekend.

Fishing Wilson this weekend
Hi I'd like to try fishing Wilson this weekend and was wondering where I could launch my boat, it's a 22' Starcraft islander. Also any tips anyone could share would be greatly appreciated as I've never fished anywhere out there

They just dredged Conesus yesterday. I have not been to Honeoye but I'm sure that's fine.

Its pretty simple in my case I wear hip boots....no problem loading boat on solo or otherwise. I just keep them in the back of the Expedition.
Chas a number of launch ramps prohibit power loading....a number of reasons but I've seen a lot of folks pizzed at power loaders because they pile up rocks with their turbulance and then someone unwittingly dings their prop when they come in afterward.
Conesus was like that last year, there was a 6' deep hole and then a sandbar at the end that you couldn't get over once the water got low

I'll take them if the last guy doesn't

Not sure what your budget is but maybe check out the new smoker craft phantom 222 off shore with the rigid frame soft top, they're pretty sweet

Do you have space to dry dock a boat on a trailer? It's a 22' Starcraft islander, also if you do what would a monthly rate be
-
How much is it to launch? It'd probably be worth the money to avoid the free/state launches once the rec boaters start going

Fished there tonight and got skunked, trolled all suttons on way up to vine valley without a nibble and on the way back I tried a bunch of other stuff and had a fish on for a minute that hit a mag silver carbon moonshine spoon and had a brown or rainbow hit a bay rat flat lined on a planer board. The one on the bay rat gave me a few quick jumps and came unbuttoned I'm thinking it was a rainbow

Gave them a call, man they are still a pricey boat, 40k for the 202 Offshore and 46k-47k for the 222 Offshore. Anyone interested in buying a kidney?
A place over on the west coast has them not sure if it is worth the $1500 to drive over to the west coast to pick one up. On the west coast shipping would run me about $2k so for that $500 might be worth having it shipped.
Are they much cheaper on the west coast?
Sportsman ? Not so much

When that person is a business that breaks all the laws for profit I'd say yes, it's not personal, it's an attack on a poorly run business that poaches for profit. Everyone screws up in life and pays for it but when you're a guide and charter captain and you get caught poaching for profit you should expect everything you have coming
