Just pop a rivet in the hole

About to head to the genny, is anyone doing anything out there today?
-
The pleasure boats really ruin the fishing there
-
What were the pay outs?
-
Is it an Erie dearie

If it's only the motor that's a relatively cheap fix, I'd buy a boat with bad motor but I'll never make the mistake of buying another boat with a bad transom. Not only was it expensive but I probably had 40 man hours into the fix

Sure sounds like the original poster wasn't pulling copper to meYup, you said the same thing as before. He cut behind you, but he didn't get your copper, you got his? Can someone please help me understand that, I'm from NJ

Anyone caych anything today? We got 2 small ones before we gave up to catch 3 lakers. Fished 120-550fow under 200 was awesome screen in the morning but nothing was hungry, the 5 pounder was caught in 240 and the 8 pounder came in 280 it was a disappointing day

Gambler rigs as close to bottom as you can, troll 1.5 speed in 100-150fow and get ready because it won't take long
-
Maybe if the lakers aren't on bottom the wouldn't need to beCool vid ! Do the cowbells always have to be run on the bottom ?
Thanks- Rusty

That 88 penyan in the classifieds might be worth a look, not a hard top but has full xanvas

Aren't pennyans about twice as heavy as an islander? With a set of buckets or bags off the front islanders do fine in the windPenn yan.
-
is anyone besides your clients entered?
-
Get an islander!

im not sure but it's not a lack of fish, when the lake froze those 2 winters in a row we ice fished it and the fishing was amazing. Some days we would catch 20 a piece jigging and even the slow days we would get around 5 or more with fish over 10 pounds every tripNever used to be tough. What happened? I was a newbie out there in a tin can 12footer back in 2005 and caught limits with wire dipsey rigs and a level hand crank down rigger setup off a 2x4.
So explain why it is so bad now? I never see any good reports . Me and FLX used to kill it in there what happened?
Very few reports anymore?

Well what color was hot?

But a set of trolling bags, if it's windy it'll blow that boat all over without bags. I also own an islander but mines a soft topThank you.I have been fishing on my 18 footer with Mercury 115 four stroke on Ontario for years so this is a big stepup for me.I am quite sure I will like the Starcraft Islander hardtop very much.
-
And why is that?I bet they would hold on longer too, but they dont go after live minnow like you think they would

I got turned on to a moonshine blue jeans spoon this year and it's been out producing the carbon 14 for me.Get yourself a couple of Moonshine Carbon 14 spoons, and drop those to where you see the marks. You will catch fish!
-
I run 12s on mine and they're not that bad to pull up until you're going extra deep (250'+) for lakers
-
How was the fishing? I'm thinking of launching at the genny for the first time tomorrow, any tips for there?
-
What would it need to work
Downrigger cable replacement, wire or braid?

I feel like braid would really suck when the fleas are heavy
