The lake trout were really hungry Saturday but we couldn't find the Kings, most lakers came on a #1 dipsy back 280 with a white flasher fly combo
-
$175 is a really good price, it seems most are in the $500 range used

It has a 19 pitch prop on it, I have an extra if you think it could really fix the problemyou sure it's the kicker & not the pitch of the big prop?
-
It has spring loaded trim tabs

there is a whole pile of those 15-18# fish out thereAfter pondering about this, it is my opinion that the laker division minimum need to be lowered to 18lbs. Yesterday we had two between 19-20lbs. Most Loc derbys, 18lbs will make the board. The LOC is bigger and runs longer (summer). Once this derby takes off and there are more entrants, I can see upping the minimums.

If you find a newer alpha or mr outdrive it'll bolt right up. If you shop around you can find them pretty cheap. I bought a spare for my boat just because it was only $250. Like pap said you'll just need to use your input shaft off the old outdrive because the newer ones are longer. Also try to get one off a boat with a similar size motor so the gear ratio is the same(or at least close)

I googled it pap and it seems the outdrives in the late 60s are not interchangeable with the alphas, I'd like to see a picture of the outdrive
-
What kind of outdrive?

I have a 221 Starcraft islander and was wondering what I could do to get the boat to quit listing to the side of the kicker while under power? It's a 9.9 on an adjustable bracket but it seems to pull the same if the motor is all the way down or up.

The scrap yard by me was charging $.65 per pound, scrap lead if you sell it to the yard is going for $.40 per pound I'd say somewhere in between those prices would be fair

Just get a set of bags and troll with the big motor on rough days that's what everyone I know does

I would sell just the reels separate also if someone was interested

Maybe you should change the name to the flat water derby so this wind will stop and we can go fish

Call customs they'll give you all the legal info you need, then just drive it back across the lake
