  1. Definitely we try and sometimes we get lucky. It's a matter of finding the bait, you find that and the Kings should be there but they can be scattered from 10' out to oblivion. Best bet would be to go for lakers cause the Kings are close and mixed in. I run from Irondequoit and head towards the Genny in about 70' and go from there. Temperature is key, 46 degrees is usually my target number.

are they usually low in the water colum like lake trout?
  2. Good luck with your floor job mine started as some soft spots by the dog house and ended up with a new transom. What a pita that was to change, me and a friend have about 20 hours each into it but we did end up only having to change the 2 floor pieces next to the dog house. 1 more thing if your transom is bad fix it before you ruin the drive coupler they are $500

  3. I guess it's my OAS (over analyzing **** ) that keeps me stacking rods, 8ft. Below/10ft. Behind is hard to achieve with a slider or a fixed when your running a 15ft. Set back . I just feel that it's easier to replicate the "program" when I'm stacking , typically only run a 6 rod spread .

I feel you, plus sometimes I like to run 50' leads off the ball
  4. Can someone identify the second spoon from left to right for me please, I have some in a walleye tackle lot I bought and I'm thinking of reselling . They are stamped SL on them
