At 4 pm 23yds right in front of my stand this guy shows up...4th shooter at this stand in the past week and no shots

I was hunting Tonawanda yesterday and had 6 on me in the first 10 mins and the dog probably had more.

Well hunted a permission property tonight brought my cousin. And we had a good amount of action maybe 10 does or so. And 2 bucks. Had the bigger buck at 30 yds broadside just eating.. and he has a broken front leg. He's just barely using it. It was hard to not shoot him that's for sure. I was hoping he would work his way to my cousin who was about 180yds from me he did wander that way but he only got to about 70 from him before a doe got him nervous and he hobbled back to the woods.
Going to go back in there tomorrow hoping he can get a shot at him.

Stopped at one of my permission spots and they were like there was 9 out last night and one was a huge buck. I was like perfect that what I like to hear haha. going to see if I can get eyes on him for gun season! And one of my other spots a guy said he saw a really big 8 point but couldn't get a shot. So [emoji1696] see if can track down a 2nd big boy.. Would love to take my 2nd with the bow also. So we'll see guess I got some work to do to figure these guys out and see if I can get myself in position to kill one of them!

Well one year ago to the day I was going back to the hospital for the 2nd time from covid. Fast forward one year and I'm out enjoying my life hunting and fishing and I have a fantastic whitetail buck on the ground. This deer has consumed my thoughts since the summer. We have watched him grow. Got videos of him loosing his velvet. Lots of pictures of him. Have videos of him checking out what I was doing in the woods. Spent most of the first month playing cat and mouse with him and he always had the upper hand. And finally we crossed paths and I sealed the deal! This deer is super meaningful and rewarding to harvest after all the hard work. Here's some awesome pictures of him!

What a great first sit! Lots of deer moving. 30+ deer seen but only one buck. At one point I had a train of 19 does and fawns walk within 25 yards of the stand.

Was out both this morning and this evening. Half a dozen deer both hunts. 
Not seeing many big deer but that could change quickly. Cold in the am, can’t wait. 

Had an opportunity at some does in a spot that was easy to get one out. So i took it and big girl down. #2 for the freezer. Definitely getting a good amount of bucks pics and some daylight activity young be buck ticking antlers. Of course the one I'm chasing still being nocturnal. Lol.

I had the same thing yesterday was hoping for some good movement after the rain. And nada, snuck close to where the buck I'm after has been bedding. But nothing! So back out for a few days. This morning only one lone doe in another spot.

Ya.. may go to my airbnb and get some stuff done and hunt the afternoon. Passed up a young doe this morning. Saw 5 others out of shooting range. Passed up two small bucks yesterday. 8 does the night before also passed up a 100inch 8. Had some bucks fighting in one of the fields on a walk out yesterday. So I'm going to throw some calls in the bag see if we get a looker to come in! Big boy has been mia now for a couple days. Got more cameras up on 3 different properties to see if I can find anything else that sparks my interest!

Good luck fellas! Hopefully it's another good season,. Trail cams are showing a couple nice ones. Got one big boy that I'm letting my ole man get the first sit on him! While I sit on the other side of the property! But hopefully him or my cousin get it done before I got to go show em how to do it [emoji1787]

I'm very thankful for this late season as my daughter hasn't had many days to hunt archery or gun with her busy sports seasons. We put three hunts together, the 1st day she missed a nice 10 pt at 75 yards (he's going to be awesome next year) day 2, we watched many deer and 3 bucks stay out of range.  Tonight, the light and variable wind bite us. Many winded us and I didn't think it was going to happen. When I looked over and see the doe train coming. I said, tomorrow's weather doesn't look good if you want to shoot a big doe. She said, "no, I don't want a doe". Of course, I look at the last deer and it's a big bodied buck.. we get ready and had to stop him as they were on to us, she whacked him! What a way to end the year!! 

Cell cams where they have to walk up to it from the front! Def helps a lot!

I've been out a decent amount but nothing to write home about. Seen a good number of does. Seen 2 bucks last two evenings one a 1.5yr old and tonight a messed up rack 2.5. Nothing big showing up on cameras. So hunting spots I don't have cameras to see if I can find something to get me excited!
