Hey guys, im in the market for a autopilot. i have a chance to pick up a Raymarine E12120 discontinued corpack for a good price. the E12120 drive states it will support a ram between 4.9CuIN to 10.5CuIN. the ram on my boat is a 10.2CuIN ram. will the pilot operate well with this ram or should i look for a different unit with more capacity. the boat is a 31 tiara. thanks for all your help in advance.

  13. i have a 94 baha 313 sportfisherman powered with twin volvo 5.7. both stuffing boxes are leaking pretty bad and need to be repacked. does anyone know what diameter stuffing i need. i dont want to back the nut off and remove a ring of packing only to find out the marina doesnt have the right size. thanks in advance for all the help as usual
  14. Hey guys i am looking for a little help. i have had mixed opinions regarding the mounting location of 2 transducers one being the fish hawk x4 transducer and the hummingbird 1197 SI transducer. the only place i can mount it is in the middle of the transom. the boat is a 31' baha and the distance from prop to prop is roughly 14''. i am worried that by having both transducers side by side i will have interference. the FH trans runs on 70khtz and the HB trans runs on 83 or 200. i will for the most part be running on 83. how close can they be together??? since the transducers are behind the props am i going to have a lot of interference from cavitation while on plane?? anyone running the fish hawk and another transducer side by side? should i consider ordering the through hull plastic tran with side imaging or running a shoot through the hull trans and maintaining the transom mount for the side imaging and linking them both together with a Y cable. anyone with advice and experience would be great. thanks
  15. Hey guys my new boat is rigged with twin volvo 350 i was wondering what the average fuel milage should be at trolling RPM. what are the pros and cons on trolling with a kicker? lets say a kicker would cost me around 5k plus rigging and a kicker would save me roughly 30 to 50 dollars a day trolling it would pay for itself in 100 to 200 days on the water. for me thats 2 years. what are some peoples feelings on fishing with a kicker thanks
  16. i bought a 31 baha. there is no fly bridge. thanks for the warnings and i will wait for a calm day and take it easy

  18. Hey guys with spring around the corner i want to bring the boat i purchased from the states into Ontario. what is required to import. all i got with the boat is the original title and a bill of sale with no value but signed by a notary of public. all the help would be great considering the hauler wants to bring it down next week. thanks
  19. dont use sheet metal as it would sound like someone banging on pots and pans in the rough stuff. i would gut all the rotten ply and replace with marine ply. as for the finish. i would use carpet.
  20. looking for a boat hauler to bring my newly purchased boat in from Brick NJ to toronto. 31 LOA 11'6'' BEAM 12,500 LBS if there is anyone on the board who knows anyone in the rigging business let me know. thanks steve

  23. hey guys its been a while since ive been on here. i recently purchased a 1994 31 baha with twin v8 inboards. i want to rig my 25 hp high thrust on the back of the thing in conjunction with a simrad Ap14. it has a 2 foot swim platform on the stern. will i beable to rig up an easy steer to the rudders?? im looking for some information regarding this. it has push pull cable steering. i m ok with having to cut up the swim platform. over the years i have never seen a easy steer mounted to rudders only stern drives and OB. All the help the better. my head hurts from thinking of ways to rig up the damn thing. all the best
