  1. Like a thousand cups of water being poured into the lake over and over.... it's hypnotizing.

  3. Sounds like a year like last year... couldn't make it out last night or this morning, but planning on sunday morning. Last year was a slow start unless fishing near a creek mouth.

  4. That rigger ball... what a nightmare that was. Didn't mean to change up the topics but reading Ians report got me pumped for spring..... I talked to my step kid this afternoon, sounds like I may have a team for the get together.

  5. I'm gonna try to get over there one night a week... and hoping I've picked up enough knowledge to put a dozen otisco eyes in the freezer this year! I only been fishing there a dozen times over the past 2 years... but I feel confident in the knowledge that I picked up from Otiscos finest!!

  6. Unfortunately it looks like guys will still be ice fishing after April 1. Which means it could be a slow walleye opener like last year. Creek mouths may be the ticket first Saturday in may.

  7. Me and two others fished lewis this am 630 - 930... 4 different spots from first ledge out to the humps. 1 light bite took a minnow head.... that's it. Was nice to get out since I was in on saturday, now for some beer and snacks for the game.

  9. Very cool thread Justin... kinda like an end of year gathering looking back at 2014. I want to say thanks not just to Justin but to everyone that contributes to the walleye thread... I'm sure I've learned something from everyone here...especially the braid, mono, floro debate! I don't want to rush my ice season but I'm looking forward to May... it's good to see some activity in the walleye thread it's been awhile since I stopped in here (my wife's watching some show). Thanks again Justin for taking me out those times it was a blast!

  10. Went to lewis pt again... gorgeous morning, no wind and over cast. Lost the first bite of the morning at the hole, landed a 19 and a 15. Lots of lookers my cousin has a camera he said a school of sheep head kept coming around. Fished 7-3:30. Long day for 2 fish but I really enjoy being out on the ice watching my lowrance.

  14. Ice was 10 where I was sitting at lewis. It was 11 today in Cleveland but I got no pics worth taking today bite was slow... One perch out of apps moved 3 times left at 9 and went to big bay to get away from the wind and get a couple sunnies.

Pequod... I didn't measure the white but looking back I should have. That small eye was 15 on the button and in the pic it looks like that white is only an inch shorter.
