Got a small tiger on a Pike shiner, as well as a short smallie and a 12 incher, caught a dozen pannies on spinner and worm harness. Plus what made my day was catching a 32" carp on a icefishing jig rod with a small jig and worm combo! It was at least a 10 minute fight, like landing a Salmon on a Barbie pole!

  2. Justin, and all... I'm very new to fishing otisco, only went there for the first time last winter for the gills. Got one small tiger and a big large mouth (outside the limits of gills) but I been on a small quest for a keeper tiger or nice eye since I've been there twice this summer. Your pics and posts got me to think this is a gem, and I am willing to drag my yak across the county park and paddle out to deep water to find them, although I hope they move shallower in fall like onieda! Keep the stories and pics going guys its a long drag from the parking area to the water just to end up with a smallie or two.....ill be out at 4 am. Jeff

  3. Nice catch! Friday night at midnight my step kid and I went out of the south launch and trolled east to Chapman and back. Had our limits by 3am. I went last night with my waders to the south launch. Fished 9-11 caught 2 lost 2 others within arms reach. I didn't want to leave without my limit, because they were bumping. But it was getting late. Jeff

  5. same salmon different day i guess....some guys are contempt doing the same thing over and over.....its interesting and fun to go to a place like mays point, throw some burgers on the grill put some rods in the water and just wait for the drag to scream......the best part is u never know what ull catch.......momma always said life is like a box of chocolates!!!!!

I agree, I like perch and walleye for the table, Big Northerns through the ice, and trout and salmon in the spring and fall, but I hit the Seneca 4-6 times a spring just to see what will hit some raw shrimp, and its usually something big
