Not burning my spot per say, but I've killed a few bucks in happy valley near parish. There is a lot of state land and is generally quiet during the bow season. But when the early muzzelloading starts banging it can get busy untill the southern zone opens up.

Actually ill bet some locals are picking up walleye in oswego right now....but they're tight lipped only way to find out is to get out there and talk to the guys that are fishing

I've caught walleyes from the wall in oswego in July....they may drop back into the harbor/ lake during the day but after a rain they come back into the river.

Got 2 since deer season closed, but the coyotes in our neighborhood only pass through every 3-7 days so its tough to get a pattern on them. The fox on the other hand seem to be plentifull

Going to hit it hard sat, sun, Mon, Tues. Its a 45 minute drive for me but November I spend the gas for the best walleye action right up to first skim ice.
