2017 Seneca Lake 333 Tournament 2017 SENECA LAKE 333 TOURNAMENT $100.00 ENTRY FEE PER BOAT TO BE PAID BY MAY 1, 2017. A late entry from May 2nd to May 10th will be $125.00 per boat LAKE TROUT ONLY total weight of 3 fish, 3 days of fishing, May 13, July 15 and September 16. Weigh your biggest 3 fish, your fish can be weighed on any of the three tournament dates. You can weigh all 3 on one day or 1 or 2 can be weighed on a tournament day but only 3 fish total can be weighed during this event which has three tournament dates. Start fishing at 5:30am Weigh in is 3:30pm at Sampson State Launch on each tournament date. 100% pay back minus the cost of insurance and permit fee for using New York State property for weigh in. PAYOUT AMOUNTS WILL BE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF BOATS IN THE TOURNAMENT 1 to 5 boats = winner take all 6 to 12 boats = 1st (65%) and 2nd (35%) 13 or more boats =1st (60%), 2nd (30%) and 3rd (10%) All boats must leave from Sampson State Launch WE WILL ALSO HOLD A BOX TOURNAMENT ON THESE THREE DATES $30.00 ENTRY FEE PER BOAT FOR EACH OF THE DATES. May 13, July 15, and September 16. These are three individual tournaments (a total of $90.00 if you fish all three dates) Entry fee to be paid in advance of each tournament. Winnings will be paid after each tournament. All boats MUST leave from Sampson State Launch. A tournament coordinator will be at the launch to register all boats leaving the launch. (entry fees can be paid at this time) You can fish any tournament dates you want 1, 2 or all 3. Box Tournament is a one person legal one day limit of trout/salmon, 5 fish total NYS regulations. Scoring will be 10 points for each fish weighed plus the weight of those fish. Therefore if you have 5 fish to weigh you will get 50 points plus the weight of the fish to give you your total score. Start Fishing at 5:30am. Weigh in will be at 3:30pm at the Sampson State Launch for each tournament. This event is strictly a Lake Trout only event, to which the angler/team will have to make their decision to weigh on each date, 0, 1, 2 or even 3 fish. However, only 3 fish can be weighed in for the entire event to count towards your overall score. 2. Scoring- Scoring will be based on weight only for this event. In the event of a tie, the team with the bigger box prior to the final date will break the tie. 3. Fishing for this event MUST be conducted from a boat, and ALL boats will depart from Sampson State Park Marina. 6096 NY 96 A Romulus, NY. 4. Fish maybe taken by any and all legal NYS regulations 5. There will be a maximum of 9 rods or 20 lures per boat allowed in the water at any given time (this is to ensure a fair playing field, whether it be rig rod fisherman or multiple junk line fisherman) 6. Anglers do not need to participate in all dates, remember, goal is largest three fish combined weight 7. Weigh-in order will be determined by random draw on each date listed. Choose wisely. 8. All boats must check in with tournament committee by 5:45am, prior to leaving on to the lake at the Launch area, There will be no physical boat to boat contact once on the water with any boats, unless a water emergency arises 9. Fishing Begins at 5:30 AM and MUST Sign in to weigh-in no later than 3:30PM on each date. Any team not signed in by 3:30PM will be disqualified for the days event. 10. Entry forms accompanied with the $100 registration fee must be submitted by May 1, 2017. Box Style event is one man’s NYS legal limit of trout/salmon. No more than 3 salmon, 1 rainbow. 4. Scoring: Scoring will be 10 points per fish weighed, plus the weight of the fish combined. Ex: 5 fish is 50 points, weight of 5 fish total is 32.7 pounds. Total Score: 82.7 5. Weigh-in order will be determined by random draw. 6.
