    It depends where the Crack is and if the water is penetrating into the exhaust galley. That water can leak down into a cylinder and cause a hydro lock of the motor. Check out Michigan motorz.     I personally do not think linking them would benefit as the t4 does not have the reaction time like a simrad or any other ap for that matter. Buy yourself a wireless winch remote control kit. Hooked up wires as needed. 4 wires. Ground Positive IN...LEFT OUT....RIGHT. control it from anywhere in boat. Tractor supply sells the remote kits. But ebay too.     Good. I'll try to find a photo If I can I'll post. Get a kicker with its own trim unit. The guys i fish with have a 25 on a 31 foot and a 40 on a 30 foot. They perform great. Both have the same custom bracket. Very very secure. close to the boat. Even have plumbed the steering to kicker in with the rudders hydraulics. If I can find a shot I will.
