The problem is that most of the guys in office that are pushing this frankly dont care what you and me have to say I have a feeling that somewhere down the line money is going to find its way into some politicians pocket To them its not about protecting the fishery, its about money. "go green" is a noble idea but the line needs to be drawn. Does a few hundred wind turbines that promise cleaner energy make right the numerous bad effects? I think not

Before the next Genesee Charter Club meeting in early april i was thinking about sliping the kayak in and going for a few hours of bass fishing the docks and/or stumps on the west side of the bay near the game club. Will the bass be there pre spawn yet or should i wait until may? Also, what kind of lures are used down there and would i be fishing for large or smallmouth bass? Anyone familiar with the area or would be interested and goin yak fishing w/ me?

My name is Jason Karol, a sophomore at odyssey academy, and an avid fisherman. I am looking to be a first mate or an observer for a charter for this upcoming fishing season in the rochester area(preferably launching on the genesee river but anywhere in the vicinity). I have a strong passion for fishing and would love to learn the ropes of the charter fishing buisness and work with a captain. I am more than willing to do any and all jobs on the boat and have lots of experience fishing; If it has to do with fishing, boating, or just being on the water, i love to do it. I have been fishing my entire life and am looking to take the next step and work for a captain. I have prior work experience in the food industry, bussing tables at Crescent Beach, but would like to get into the fishing buisness as this is one of my biggest intrests and desires. I kayak fish fro bass and pike year round and in sept. and november am all over the browns. I kayak just west of the genesee and this year want to target some salmon. Il be out in a month and fish through nov. kayakin almost every day in the summer

I was watching a show that used a star anise scent and they said the kings LOVED it. I personally havent tried but i might give it a shot

wenever im fishing and i happen to get slime on my hands i always rub it on my lure before washing my hands. It seems like the first bites the toughest but when i get the slmie on there, the pace gets faster and i start getting more hits. Why try to imitate the fish oil when u can put the real deal on there?

Thanks, il be out in a month or 2 and will be fishing 5 days a week once summer rolls along My parents got me the yak for christmas and its the best gift theyve got me i use it 10 times more than my gamecube. Its a great way to get a kid fishin as well as being super cheap and hassle free.

Round pond in the spring off the bridge pond side holds nice small and Largemouth bass as well as LM all year

Hey guys, ive been on lou for a few months but forgot to do this so here it is. im an avid kayak fisherman catches all the same fish as the big boys I love catches 3 lb. Bass and 8 lb. Pike all year and then big brown trout runs by my house have me goin crazy fightin 15 pounders. You cant miss me in my yellow yak, fishing mostly round pond.
