Never touch the gills. Hold by tail and mouth. Snap pics fast and release. I never keep the fish unless I have to. Some fish need a little coaching a sway back and forth. They will kick free when they're ready.

   I read/saw somewhere (Dec.) new findings say we should not move a fish back & forth that it does more harm than good.  It is not natural for  fish to go backwards & it does not help them to recover.  They say just move them in a forward motion only.  I guess I/we have been doing it wrong for a long time!

  What year is that boat?  I have a1992 Grady that has always been stored inside.  I sure hope it's better than that!  It seems  fine & strong.  How did you find your problem?  Yours looks great now good luck!   

Stayed with the drum brakes. tore all apart & only found bad wheel cylinders. Replaced them, now only need to bleed the system & will be on the road!   Thanks guys for all the  good info.

Not a bad job to do! All depends on the actuator you have. Some actuators it's a simple part change. If your actuator is old just get a new one that is disc break ready. When venture set up my trailer they used the wrong actuator so I burnt the breaks off it the first trip. Sean

Has anyone ever switched from hydraulic drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes on their boat trailer ?  Is it a real pain ?  Does the coupler/actuator need to be changed ?  Thanks for any info. on this!

   Anyone using this or plan on using this line?  It seems pretty nice in their video compared to copper.  Any opinions?

  Update here, Turkeys still coming every Am.   We have gained a 3rd. tom, he struts & does his thing but he stays back  & off to the side of the original 2 toms & the rest of the flock.

  Worked & fished with Pat many years. He pretty much taught me most of what I know about fishing Lake O. & walleye on lake Erie.  He loved his fishing & could catch fish when others could not.  He will be missed.

   Mine is also on the front & works very well.  But I do take the rod off when tilling the big motor up.
